Aren't all the angry birds things also free on the chrome store? So if you have a phone, tablet, or computer, you don't need to buy this.

Vinny rediscovering the magic of Kinect was pretty damn great here.

Otherwise, holy shit this is expensive.

I would go so far as to call myself one of the bigger fans of Angry Birds on Giant Bomb. And there's some nice fresh art in this game.

But fuck this for $40.

They over-charge for a 99 touch-based flash game, but leave out the (best) addition which is Angry Birds Space? I thought the price-tag was ridiculous, but these things they get away with are getting a bit old.

So... grandma goes to the Toys R Us looking for a christmas present, knows that Little Jimmy likes the Angry Birds, pays $40 on a game that should've been a $5 download... guys in suits rejoice!!!

Impressed that aiming with the kinect actually seems adequate.

If nothing else for the people who want to play angry birds for free, you can also find it in the games section of facebook. This looks like an okay version of this but after playing it elsewhere, can't say I'd want to buy it again.

great quicklook, really impressed the voice recognition probably worked better in this game than any other game i've seen for the kinect so far.

The fact that Activision published this explains a whole lot.

It's just a weird thing. The whole reason these simplistic games are as popular as they are is because there's not much competition on phones or other such devices. I can't imagine paying 40 dollars to play a product that is intrinsically "inferior" (I don't intend for that to be an elitist statement) to a vast collection of other games on said platforms.

Best I can figure this is for people with young kids who want to play Angry Birds, who don't have a mobile device, yet for some reason have an Xbox, aren't savvy enough to find it online, and have more money than sense.

Yeah, the Chrome version is free and has hidden collectibles that unlock exclusive levels.

These are excellent podcast-listening games and I have to say - being able to get a platinum trophy for all those hours might just be enough for me to pick this one up... when it's 10 bucks on Amazon.

The lack of Bad Piggies or Angry Birds Space is a bummer though.
