GOD I HATE THIS GAME

If they play the xbox version of Red Alert 3 I might kill myself.

I was thinking that I'd have to check this out on steam, and then as I was typing it in I realized I'd had the 2nd one thanks to the humble bundle for months and just never given it a second thought. Can't wait to start it up now though. Like Brad, "like Metroid" is pretty much all you need to rope me in

Great Quicklook, I'm just not sold in the game.

"Nothing is too thick with story" For video games, almost unerringly true. Though yes, she might have maybe had use for some rocket launchers.

I need to go back and finish Aquaria one of these years but a lot of other stuff from my backlog beckons. Vinny and Brad you guys need to a least play far enough to get to the surface, its one of my favorite moments in videogames last decade.

Derek Yu, the programming half of the two man team that developed Aquaria is almost done with the XBLA version of Spelunky, which from the trailer looks like a great update.

This game looks good and fun (although I don't think I would like the mouse controls). I just think I'll wait for a price down. For some reason, $20 seems a bit steep to me...

i bought this game in the humble indie bundle ages ago and never could get into it. but this quick look gave me some context to what this game actually is and how to play it, i REALLY got hooked. i finished it 100% getting every steam achievement and getting every collectable. i rarely do that with games. i gut ~25 out of it. i love this game because of you guys. just wanted to say thanks :)

Really need to get back into this, I haven't even gotten the energy form yet. Enjoyed the 15 or so minutes I have played of it though :P

God bless Giant Bomb for this Quick Look. Without it I probably never would have found this game, which quickly became one of my favourite indies!

After seeing this game and having it stick in my mind for 5 years, I finally bought it and played it. I think I'm halfway through the game now and I really enjoy it! Don't know if I can recommend it to others, but it's interesting to me!
