@neckbear: Oh whatever, man. I'm all about the antics and still think the video is hilarious but I don't think taking five minutes to go over shit like settings and controls is too much to ask before recording an hour long video about one of the highest selling things on steam right now.

I know of the gamespot coverage, thanks. It's just that usually, the giantbombers are right in between super silly and really informative: I LOVE them for that!

This time they failed in my opinion; no biggie, but calling people that wanna get some real information names like @neckbear is just weak sauce.

C'mon guys, even Drew sounds a tad dissappointed and Patrick at some point calls Vinny a child 'thats thrashing out' or sth; so they notice Anti-Vinny too...

I think if you look at the history of alpha and beta Quick Looks, they tend toward being sillier than usual. I mean, the game is still quite rough. Look for something funny yet informative when it actually releases.

So, while it stinks that you were disappointed in the Quick Look, it was actually better than I expected. I look forward to something more informative down the road, but for what it is, it's something I quite enjoyed. :)

I love the ARMA series but for all of the wrong reasons. This is why the Quick-Look sold me on purchasing it. I remember flying hundreds of feet into the air while driving a jeep over a pile of rocks in Operation Flashpoint. Ever since then, I've always loved these games and how buggy they can be. Occasionally, I like getting serious and playing the missions the right way but mostly I play them exactly like Vinny in this Quick-Look.

Awesome Quick-Look guys, I would love to see you guys playing ARMA3 as a secondary game on a future TnT!

I loved Operation Flashpoint (one of my all time favorite PC games) and the Arma games are great, but for all the wrong reasons usually. Flawed to no end but a lot of fun.

I'm holding out for ARMA III ALPHA 2 Turbo

Hearing Ryan panicking when Drew was flying the helicopter made me really want to see/hear Ryan's reaction during him or someone else playing War Thunder.

Can't help but agree, but this is Giant Bomb in a sim here. Expect zero effort and you won't be disappointed.

that doesn't really make sense. Is the giant bomb quick look of the alpha the only source you have of any information at all on arma 3? Are you incapable of searching for the name of the game or viewing other content regarding it? It is 100% true that giant bomb will never cover this game ever again, and has never given this game any other coverage. And they never will.

I agree, its unfortunate the only source of information on this game at all anywhere is entertaining and not exhaustive.

I actually do. As a subscriber Im genuinely interested in good and funny coverage of video games. Now I love fudgin around. That's video games! :D

But what rubbed me the wrong way is that Vinny - after 20 minutes of working against Drew, who was well prepared (as always), doesn't come around and realises that he's doing a job here.

A job that I help fund. Of course there are others who are fine with that type of attitude, thats ok by me, but I can't be the only one.

And @riboflavin; i know that its not the only source for information; cmon. But its the source that I trust and pay for; and i feel let down.

I can't understand anyone not absolutely loving Vinny in this. He's why Quick Looks of sim games like this should happen. There's plenty of footage of these games being played seriously on the internet - look elsewhere if you want a really insightful breakdown of a game like this.

I just wanted to say that I loved this QL and that I would take this over an informative QL any day of the week.

If you're a paying subscriber then you should know well enough to expect humor from this site. There are a million youtube videos of people playing this thing 100% serious, go watch them, it's a sea of boring ass videos to choose from.

How can you pay for something and then complain when you get exactly what they offer? They aren't shy about their intentions. Stop being naive, you know what this site is.

I usually love Vinny in QLs (the Sleepy Dogs content is GOLD), but in this Vinny was actively working against Drew, who was well prepared and trying to give an informative look at the game. I know what GB is all about, and I'm not expecting super serious ARMA (of all things) coverage, but this had little to no value outside of comedy.When I come to a GB quicklook, I expect to see good coverage of games through the humorous lens of the GB crew personalities I know and love.

I get it, I do, the crew is not big on military sims. But is it too much to ask that out of an HOUR Quicklook we get 15-20 mins for Drew to explain some stuff without Vinnie goofing off and screwing it up for him? Again, I love Vinnie (who doesn't), but he went a little overboard on this one.

This was great fun. Vinny is the best as always.

To those critical of this Quick Look, this is exactly how it went down for me and a friend. I knew what I was doing (to some degree at least) and my friend was pretty much Vinny. Still, we had fun and the last time I checked video games were meant to be fun.
