Wait a minute. Are you telling me this is some sort of indie 2D puzzle platformer AND it has a sassy robot lady who is a huge jerk to you? Well now I've heard everything.

Still gives me goosebumps, although its a crappy disney SciFi movie with Ernest Borgnine and a dopey looking droid named V.I.N.cent, It has one hell of an opening track. Just thought I would share it here

I got so many puzzle-platformers sitting in the ol' Steam backlog, but I wouldn't mind adding this one. Hope it shows up in a bundle.

Ugh not a fan of the writing.

I did a lot of deep reflecting in the first 138 seconds. Am I the BLACKHOLE? Is the BLACKHOLE in me?

This game would frustrate me to the point of throwing and smashing things. I feel there's too many "just out of reach" moments for me.

@burgavo: that movie always weirded me out and i (rather stupidly) had it a tiny bit mixed up with 2001 when i was a kid.

This is one of those videos where you ignore the subtitles and just pay attention to what Vinny and Alex are saying. This writing is BAD

Yep, ten minutes in I decided I hate this game entirely based on the writing. Doesn't help that there's hundreds of indie games with much better writing vying for my time.

If I was good at puzzle games, I would probably have been frustrated watching this QL.

Incidentally, this video will be the favorite of youtube video makers everywhere as a source of a virgin video intro. (hello remixes)

If you were in a black hole, wouldn't your coordinates be "1"?

Oh man, I cannot stand a bunch of imbeciles arguing, whether it's played straight (The Walking Dead) or as comedy. I see that in real life all the time and it's aggravating and depressing. Why would I want that in a video game form? Give me intelligent, competent people who can resolve conflicts rationally. That's a far more compelling fantasy to me than murder simulators or underboob or mandated torture/mutilation QTEs.

Even Dark Star, which this game really wants to be in the start, had competent characters who were dulled by routine. The climax of the film is a philosophical discussion. It's PHIL 150 stuff, but it's confronting difficult issues in a comedy. It's possible to be funny and smart at the same time!

I know it's just the intro and the game doesn't seem to have any of that past this point (besides Navi being an asshole constantly), but the whole thing rubbed me very hard in the wrong way.

Referential humor isn't funny. It has, in fact, never been funny.

The writing and delivery remind me of LEGO City Undercover, but they feel out of place without mugging and wild gesticulations. Regardless, the top-heavy setup is unnecessary given the presence of the audio logs.

I hope the game introduces new mechanics at a decent rate because what was shown here looks dry.
