Quick Look: Bloodforge

The game doesn't look to be as bad as what people are making it out be. If they fixed the camera, it would be a fun $10 play-through. Some of the visuals are cool, the boss visuals were cool.

I cant stand drunk cameras in games. I thought GTA4's was the worst...but this game is all drunk camera, I think it just might take the throne.

I played this during PAX East and could not stop LAUGHING. The grunting and groans in this are so ridiculous! This would be an okay game to MST3K. The camera was terrible too.

Yeah, I loved the Viking game which seems similar. But jeez, I don't think I can handle that camera.

The horns and the snow reminds me of Rune... that's the only positive thing about this blatant ripoff that I can think of.

I like games like this, but this isn't very appealing. The graphics are really ugly, the environment extremely sparse... ew.

45 minutes of this shit? Wow, not that I'm not appreciative for coverage of games I'd never see, but I can't imagine having to sit there for 45 minutes playing this; also considering Jeff's dislike for God of War 3 yet somehow he ends up playing this. Ew.

Arthur Gies sighting. Could this be worse than that God of War knock off Vinny and Ryan played last year? The name of the quick look escapes me. The only note of interest from that game was that it was made in Iran.

I love how the camera is nearly perfectly still in the cutscenes we see, yet all over the place while just standing still during gameplay... That's just not right.

This would have made for an awesome PS2 game.

Yeah this is unappealing to me. I'll pass.

I really like the look of the game and the characters but not necessarily the way it plays. The camera may be offputting but I think it really adds to the game. It discourages the feeling of floating over the ground that a game like God of War has. Apart from the glitch with the unkillable enemy it looks like a competent hack n' slasher. From what I've seen I'd give it three stars.

That camera. You simply don't do that in any medium, no matter what "tone" you're going for. That's almost a Battlefield Earth kind of mistake.

It always does hurt to see the indie or smaller team market try to emulate the gameplay of blockbuster releases. It's a fight you should never get into unless you have a unique enough schtick. That said, you could certainly do much worse from the looks of it.
