Crom sounds like a bad pro-wrestler doing an impression of Christian Bale as Batman...and WOW, I don't lightly throw around the phrase "rip-off" since there ARE only a few stories to tell, but this is a RIP-OFF of God of War.

At least this looks better than Garshasp

This is horrible. I needed to take pauses to see it all the way through. Great game, Microsoft.

got 10 mins into the vid and couldn't watch it any more was giving me motion sickness ...

I'm only 12 minutes in and I don't know how much more I can take. The poor frame rate along with the jerky camera is really giving me a headache. I've never know any game to do this to me so I guess this game has done with thing no other game has.

I am honestly dizzy because of that camera.

PPL, chill out, it's not a 60$ retail game, it's a 15$ downloadable game, and for that, it looks pretty good.

XBLA games are getting so good, that ppl are starting to compare them to full retail games.

And you know what, this game is probably longer than God of War 3, too...

Yeah, maybe not as good, but i wasn't happy when i finished God of War 3 in one sitting, when i bought it the day it came out.

This looks like a PSP game that would get about 6.0 or three stars. Which means it's not good for consoles.

I know this is technically a God of War ripoff, but it is giving me some heavy flashbacks to pre-GOW action games. Stuff like Viking Warlord: Rune on the PS2. The combat looks servicable, but the visuals are awful - desaturated, blurry textures and that stupid bobbing camera. Plus the bland enemies. The biggest offender though would be the level design; just narrow corridors snaking around in a maze. So uninspired, so ..."Doom clone era"-y. That's a shame. if they had some more focus, if they went "set piece to set piece", they could've made a decent GOW clone.

For the price, you might as well pick up Creative Assembly's Viking: Total Warrior from earlier this generation. Their Total Warrior games (Spartan on PS2, Viking on 360/PS3) are underrated hack and slashers.

Wow that is just an awful camera style. God damn.

Kratos seems to have gotten a makeover, and not for the better..

I never get motion sickness, but fuck me, this game is doing it!!! I'm crazy dizzy and it's only been 4 mins!

The game doesn't seem to bad but good lord that camera! I barely managed to make it through the video.

This look absolutely terrible. Camera reminds me vaguely of the shaky cam in Castlevania: Lord of Shadow. The way the camera shook when you were standing totally still in that game always pissed me off, except this is a thousand times worse. That and it looks repetetive as hell and only worth playing if you literally can't go more than a few seconds without seeing some gore. Do kinda like the blood on the snow though, stylistically that's about the only thing this game has going for it.

Man, this verges on unwatchable. That fucking camera!

I salute you gentlemen for making it as far as you did - I'd have given up halfway through.

I don't know. Just looks like they wanted to make 300: The Game and didn't have the license or the budget.

Speaking of underrated PS2 hack and slashers, Shadow of Rome is pretty rad. It has the common last-gen action game problem of forced stealth sections that suck out loud, but combat is really great. Tons of weapons, mechanically solid and just plain brutal as hell. Also the plot has that special kind of silly alternate history vibe you usually only get from Japanese developers.
