Quick Look: Bloodforge

The boss fight is really unexciting.

That camera looks like the marketing department made the call on its inclusion and refused to hear any protest from the designers.  
 
It looks boring!  Make it more ZANG!  Give it that POP!  All the while blissfully unaware that people may actually play this, at some point, for more than 15 seconds at a sitting. 

I see a patch in the future possibly fixing the camera since EVERYONE is saying it's so hugely jacked up. You never know, if they do that the game might be a bit better.

This Quicklook is pretty funny if you listen to the audio by itself.  Would be even better if you had no idea what the game actually looked like.  Reminds me of Jeff playing MK9 during one of his NintendownloadEXPRESS episodes. 

I appreciate the art style, but it gives me a headache after a while.

Was it just me or at the 6 minute mark the game spells devastatingly as "devestatingly"?

No idea what the fuss is about. Camera shake and filter didn't bother me at all. Actually loved the look.

So ... looks like shit. Probably plays like shit. Gonna say it's probably shit.

I finally know what it is this feels like - it's like watching a cam release of a movie. Why would anyone intentionally go for that look?

shakycam can work in a movie, I don't think it can work in a game so why did the try??

This is one of the worst games I've ever seen. My head is hurting still even a few minutes after turning it off.

Just popped on to see there was any shouts of Crom, in the comments. The restraint was admirable (as was the QL). If this game can get put out, can we get a new Mark of Kri game?

Holy shit this actually gives me a headache to watch. As in, it's literally painful and might be giving me a migraine. What I'm trying to say is that I won't be purchasing this.

I kind of get the feeling the Heavy Metal theme song should be playing through this entire game and a half naked lady in a space car should be featured at some point. Heavy. Metal. Thunder. Duhhuhduhduhduhduh.

This game is making me nauseous. I feel like I'm drunk.

the only thing this ql makes me want to do is play more tera.

The jittery camera makes the game look like it's broken.

God this camera is really close to making me puke. Who thought this was a good idea?

Man, watching this, all I can think is who asked for this game? Camera is awful, game is touchy and combat is...passable. Will any of us remember this even 6 months from now?

I didn't think the opinions would be this one-sided. It looks fine, I'll try the demo and make up my mind.

I just love the sound of Jeff's high-pitched maniacal laughter. He really saves it for when some event is patently ridiculous.

I just played about 30-40 minutes of this and found it much more enjoyable than I thought I would. I also forgot how bad dark games, especially on Unreal, tend to look with internet video compression. It didn't make my eyes bleed the way that the quick look did. I'm not far enough in to accurately judge it, but after watching this I was surprised and found it to be better than expected. Nothing says good game yet, but I didn't have a bad time.

@Brad Although I love the idea of Best Anger as a category, it'll be too predictable this year. Asura, hands down. The kick ass DLC helps his case.

This is horrible. I needed to take pauses to see it all the way through. Great game, Microsoft.

Jeff's reaction during the self impalement was what I was thinking in my head during the whole video.

I can play any other game and even watch movies like Cloverfield without feeling motion sick. However, the same can not be said for watching this quicklook. :P
