There's no need to be insulting, I was just saying that this game's not for me. I watched the Quicklook, I can see the appeal, however I play a lot of games for the escapism factor, as I'm sure a lot of others do. I like bright, interesting, usually cel-shaded games with a lot of character and fantasy. To play a monochrome game focused on the daily grind of everyday life just isn't something I'm into, that's all.

This was an interesting Quick Look.

After first hearing about it on Idle Thumbs I was hoping there would be a Giantbomb Quick Look of it so I could see what it is like.

If this came to Steam Greenlight I would back it and at $5 it would seem like a decent purchase.

Also I agree with others that there needs to be more Patrick and Brad videos, they make a good double act.

Expenses of the first day:

Buns and Cream cheese.

Cool game, really look forward to playing it myself.

That said, I can't stop thinking of this as "The Depressing Mcpixel" in my head.

In a perfect world they would do a crossover and Mcpixel would be added as a playable character.

There's no need to be insulting, I was just saying that this game's not for me. I watched the Quicklook, I can see the appeal, however I play a lot of games for the escapism factor, as I'm sure a lot of others do. Yeah, everything about how this game looks and sounds is kind of maddening. It's neat that people are making games like this, but it's not for me.

@BisonHero: I don't exactly see how that's very ironic. While it does take time to watch videos or begin playing a game itself, obviously you can see that this is a game that takes a fair bit of time. If the entire game took 42 minutes to complete and I were complaining about not having the time to complete it, then I would understand your irony comment a little more. Of course I was also referring to the past, rather than the present. My excuse for not playing it now is that I just... well... I don't want to!

*edit* Oh, unless you're referring to the fact that the game in itself is a time constraint. In that case, uh, yeah. You're totally right!

Yep, I was going for that second meaning, where the game itself is full of stressful time constraints. Wasn't trying to make a jab at you! :)
