I don't care if you hate the Wii U, or have become skeptical of its future.

This game is legit. It is the best 2d platformer since the SNES days. It is simply fantastic. I bought the game for the soundtrack alone, and the gameplay, environment, level design.... everything else about it is quite simply a marvel of human art and experience.

This quick look was terrible in that it did the game zero justice at all.

The Wii U is definitely not a lost cause, despite the narrative of its demise. Games like this, Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, etc. are the reasons to buy the system. Great compliment to a PS4 or Xone if you still want "the rest" of the console gaming world as well. Really hope it doesn't disappear.

You can tell I'll eventually own a Wii U as I'm constantly looking at prices and bundles every time I visit Kmart or Target. Come on White 32g for $199.00 Aus, I know you're out there!!!

@ptys: Nintendo just started selling refurbished 32GB black Nintendoland bundles for $200 (USD, not sure about AUS) in their parts store.

Nintendo refurbished systems and accessories are always in PRISTINE condition. They have extremely high quality standards, so it could be a pretty good deal if you're looking for one.
