The character creation stuff looks like it has potential, but I wish the combat weren't so limited - even moreso than previous games. I'll wait until it's on sale for $30-40 in a few months.

Also, now that Ryan pointed out the lip syncing stuff, that is incredibly distracting.

Let me say this upfront: I love DBZ. I have loved DBZ for well over a decade. I have followed it, I remember planet-namek dot com, I remember watching it in Costa Rica when they were in the Buu saga while America still lagged behind the Freiza saga, and I can safely say that this was hilarious. Seriously, if you can't laugh at the absurdity that is DBZ (and I say that with ALL love), then you are taking it WAY too seriously.

The game has an awesomeness level of over 9000

How does Super Saiyan abbreviate to SSJ? Where does the J come from?

@MooseyMcMan: The actual Japanese term for Saiyans is Saiya-jin, so Super Saiyan is actually Supa Saiya-jin.

If you say so, but acknowledging that would be like calling Hercule "Mr. Satan," which is something I refuse, so I still do not think the abbreviation should be SSJ (at least not outside of Japan).

@MooseyMcMan: Well, I watched bootleg VHS english fansubs of it when I was a kid, so all the english voices and names are the ones that seem off to me. Mr. Satan is what I grew up knowing him as, that and lady voiced Goku.

I'm incredibly late, but Colleen Clinkenbeard is the most insane name I've seen in a long time.

The two unknown fighters in the intro are custom characters from the "Hero" mode.

Just gonna throw this out there - they did reanimate parts from the show just for this game.
