I would so like to play this, but I should probably first get around to finally play the first two games in the series which I have been owning since a long time already. And I'll most likely never find the time for that. First world problems, I know. But still: Problems that need to be solved! :)

I love the writing and characters in this series. I've only just started this one but when I took shitbot for a walk I knew I was back in love again.

Can developers stop telling us if a character will remember our actions, or if the balance has shifted. Proper writing and acting should be enough. Seems to work for other visual mediums.

Now that that's out of the way. Really, really enjoyed this. Hope future chapters pay off.

@theinnkeeper: Yeah, TWD S1 let you turn that shit off, but there wasn't an option for it (at least as far as I could find) in TWAU, and it annoyed me every time it showed up.

I also wonder if someday the bombcrew will remember to turn on subs before they start recording. Maybe in the far future.

Finally they're continuing this. I've wanted to know what April and asleep/dead-protagonist-girl-from-the-second-series are up to for a while now.

Who voices the main character? She sounds very similar to the actress in The Cat Lady.

Why have I not heard about this game up until now? Why?!

I have always wanted to get into this series but since I have never had a super strong PC I have unfortunately never really played it. Though I guess I could go back and play them today but it's hard finding the time between all the other games coming out. But I might actually go back to this one. Something about it really attracts in a way few games does.

I might have to play Dreamfall again before jumping in to this, given that I forgot most of the plot.

I need to get off my ass and finish (or at this point, just restart and finish) Dreamfall.

Oh boy -- I forgot how much I dislike these games. The Dreamfall games have always been cursed as being products of their times, in this case it is replete with bleeding lights and watching Zoe trundle along in her yoga tights. This will probably follow in the tradition of the series' poor aging.

However, Alex and Vinny still run a pleasant Quick Look regardless.

It doesn't sound like Zoë from Dreamfall The Longest Journey. I absolutely loved that game and the game won the Gamespot best voice acting award that year. This doesn't seem as good.

@dagas: It isn't the same actress. The old one moved to Australia, and production costs couldn't justify all the travel to get her to record. It has been a long time since the previous game.

If you like adventure games at all you should play the whole series. This episode is a bit on the short side, but I think it's great.

I also don't really remember much from The Longest Journey it's mostly a blur. I do know that Shitbot needs his own game.

Wow, this was surprisingly hilarious, and like... good. And it also looks quite nice aesthetically. I mean I had heard that dreamfall had good writing, but I think this actually just prompted me to pick the rest of them up.

Besides shitbot, it wasen't very good.

The slang they couldn't understand are Hindi curse words. A little poorly pronounced, but a nice touch.

I'm so glad they just opted to cut away all of the shitty gameplay elements of Dreamfall and focus on what they were really good at.

I just thought I remembered the Stealth and Combat of Dreamfall being kind of bad and then I picked it up again to get ready for this and holy shit you guys.
