Quick Look: Eat Them!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeey, Aquatongue.

Seems neat, but it looks like it would get old fast.

I felt like the character creation screen music was trying to break out into some 'Bots Master' music the whole time.

This makes me want to play Rampage again.

RAMPAGE. That's the game I was trying to remember. I had a ton of fun playing that on the N64 when I was younger.

If you imagine Ryan and Vinny talking as if they were their respective monsters, this QL becomes way funnier.

I liked the monster creation stuff but the rest of it seems like too much trouble and it would get old fast.

I would buy this solely for the monster creator, but then actually having to play the game to unlock more parts is a problem.

The art style is great, but it's pretty much just Geof Darrow (Hard Boiled, Big Guy And Rusty The Boy Robot, Shaolin Cowboy, Transmetropolitan) in video game form. I'd love to see one of his books brought to life in a weird action-RPG.

The two checkpoints were light green and light orange, so does that make Vinny red-green colorblind? Man, it must stink to be color-blind. (Then again, I've read that there are some advantages, such as being able to make out things that are camouflaged better.) It's interesting to me that he said, "one's lighter and one's darker". To me, they were just different colors, without any difference in brightness.
 
I wonder, can color blind people dream in color? Because I've heard some people dream in black & white, even if they can see all colors. If so, would that mean that they "know" what red (or whatever color) looks like? I mean, I assume that a person who can't distinguish red can't picture red in their minds, and it's not like you can adequately describe red to someone who's never seen it. But if they could dream it... maybe?

I don't think Ryan should blame the fact that his brain was not able to process the information about the prisoner mission on game design, since neither Ryan nor Vinny actually did what they were supposed to do, they just ran around without caring about the prisoners. 
 
Although I guess the missions where you just destroy are more fun still.

Is it just me or does the monster roar sound like a tie fighter? 

I feel this game would be more awesome if it just had a destroy everything free play mode.

I feel like my younger cousin and I could have some awesome times playing this.

I get a similar feel to this as I do out of Champions Online. 
 
Awesome character gen, really really fun in the character gen and for about 20 seconds out of the character gen to see how your characters plays. 
 
incredibly boring with no real content after that.  Though here, for $10 I could almost justify buying it to mess around in the monster lab and play with new parts.  

I can't believe I bought this game. It's not great.

When I saw Aquatongue I began singing "Aquatongue my friend" and then Ryan and Vinny started singing a version of Aqualung so it all worked out.
