The Guild of Fire Fightes had been outlawed by the Patrician the previous year after many complaints. The point was that, if you bought a contract from the Guild, your house would be protected against fire. Unfortunately, the general Ankh-Morpork ethos quickly came to the fore and fire fighters would tend to go to prospective clients' houses in groups, making loud comments like "Very inflammable looking place, this" and "Probably go up like a firework with just one carelessly-dropped match, know what I mean?"

Love the Persona reaper. Game looks good, doesn't control great, but overall plays well. I just wish the loop had smaller enhancements to buy so you had less "wasted" runs. Felt similarly about Rogue Legacy.

I had a super sweet Sony Walkman stolen, but I was able to detach the AA battery holder before giving it to them and I was hoping they were too dumb to figure out how to get a proprietary charger for the rechargeable battery.

I believe this was the one I had. I miss it so much =(

I don't like roguelikes with persistence or time limits. For me, they should be all about making the most of what you have and doing everything you can before moving on.

The timer seems like a cheap way to add challenge where there otherwise would have been little.

@soimadeanaccount: The fires spread slowly over time anyhow, jumping from object to object at different speeds depending on how flammable they are.

The fireballs only aim at Blaze and they can all be shot down in mid-air, but yeah, it can be tough to stop them all at times. Just don't let 'em get behind you! ^^

Good thing Brad is not playing or the CEO would have been killed cause he cant push the box out of the way.

I've been playing this a bit, and so far, I can get over everything except one issue. When you open a door, there's an apparently random chance that a wave of fire will cross the room from the other side. Any NPCs in the room will instantly die, and there's literally nothing you can do about it. If the quest NPC was in there (already an utter pain to save since she refuses to move and will burn to death in any larger room before you can clear it out), then too bad, no upgrade token for you. I've seen up to 3 NPCs instantly get killed by this.
