The hottest PS2-quality PS3 release, now on the PS4.

What a waste of a licensed property with a lot of potential (though I'm not entirely sure how that potential would be fulfilled in a way supporting a $60 game).

Even as a Godzilla fan I still don't think I'd even want to give this a try. Save The Earth and Destroy All Monsters are still the only decent Godzilla games.

It's minor, but I do like the way they explain the difficulty as how lax or strong-arm the leader is.

The $60 price is pushing the envelope, but, for posterity, let it be known that mo'fuckin' Jet Jaguar is in this game.

Okay so that was weird. I opened up Giantbomb.com was not logged in, and there's Godzilla, started watching realized I wasn't logged in. Logged in and no Godzilla, went to latest, no Godzilla, went to quick looks, no Godzilla. Logged out, bam Godzilla..... uh..... I had to go to the box cover for Godzilla on the right of the page and click on quick looks, weird.

As someone who grew up on Godzilla, the post-Pacific Rim obsession with using the word "Kaiju" instead of just "monster/giant monster" actively bothers me. Anybody not Japanese using it sounds like an ass.

Edit: Also G-Energy is not a thing. It's usually just Nuclear power.

Ya know, if this had local multiplayer I could maybe get into for good times with friends. I'm into how deep into Godzilla's "roster" this game goes.

This game fails large enough to destroy human civilization.

Everything about this reminds me of EDF. The style, the hud, the general crappiness.

Except you're stuck in one of the slow giant-enemy levels. So while EDF is super fun and charming, this is the reverse.

As someone who was obsessed with Godzilla as a kid, this game seems both slightly disappointing and completely appropriate.

I have absolutely no problem with Godzilla moving like a blindfolded guy in a stiff, sweltering hot rubber dinosaur suit, but there are so many other things wrong with this game. WHY IS GODZILLA JUST STARING AT A SMOKING CRATER WHILE THE PRIME MINISTER IS BLATHERING ON ABOUT THE NATURE OF MAN?!

I was really hoping this would scratch my EDF itch.... but it's doing nothing for me. Even if it were $20 it just looks way too slow and plodding to be any fun.

Why is Godzilla black? Was he really black in the movie? I thought it was just dark.

This quick look made me feel pretty sleepy (the game's fault). I think a good modern Godzilla game is possible, but this just looks boring.
