I believe some of those armies are still there today. I love how they run at fast-forward speed :D

This just seems to be a slower paced version of Medieval II Total War

To get a job as an engineer at GB you have to like RTS games. I love how Mike was the only one taking the game seriously.

I have a mega PC and I wish I was into RTS games like this.

LOL vinny was crackin me up in this one. "Touched in the head" and "Start diggin' graves" made me lol. Very funny stuff.

I'm with Mike on this one: This Quick Look didn't tell me shit about the game. But the graphics are better than I expected.

I laughed at the Monty Python reference. Vinny got it wrong though, I think it's bint not tart.

Aah, nice to see a QL from you guys. Dave and Vinny are so friendly. Mike seems nice also, what a gentle quick-look, soothing to the mind!

The constant comparisons to Total War and Empires really didn't help, given that I've never touched either of those series, but this wasn't a bad quick look.

Gotta say, it does seem a bit of a gyp to spend only 22 minutes on a grand strategy game. We didn't see any skill trees or story choices, which are supposed to be a special feature, so I don't know how those turned out. Army creation or territorial management  (which we'd expect from a Total War-esque game) also were not featured, so I have no idea how it compares to similar games.
 
For a strategy game it doesn't make sense to bring in someone who has never played before; there's usually a major learning curve. Even Civilization 4 would make little sense in the first half hour or so, and that's as simple and intuitive a grand strategy games get.
 
So I'm left having no idea what to think of this game, which is where I was to begin with. I've been curious about how this game was going to turn out and I'm still no closer to deciding whether I'll buy it or not. Hopefully you're just making such a short quick-look because there's a review coming, or something?
 
I can go anywhere to get a hundred opinions on mass-market games from well known publishers or developers, little games could really use more coverage in my opinion. They can't afford the huge marketing efforts that make people aware of bigger games, and if they're not going to get a fair shake they really have no chance.
