I bought this game when it was in early access, shortly after seeing it at PAX East, and it ran like DOGSHIT on my computer, even at the lowest settings.

I'll give it another shot now! Maybe its been better optimized? or maybe I need a new computer...

This just makes me want to go back and play Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, that game had an awesome kick!

The game makes a lot more sense if you use the Journal [J] to teach yourself the game mechanics.

Troy Baker and Jennifer Hale. I've enjoyed performances from both of them but, just like Nolan North, I feel their ubiquity detracts from my enjoyment of the games they appear in.

Fuck everybody! I really enjoyed Crystal Skull. I'm well aware I'm the only one.

I dunno, they usually get more occasions to showcase their range than North got for a long time. Baker managed to avoid the Nathan Drake hole North fell in for a long time.

However, you can't get enough Laura Bailey. That is literally impossible.

Some types of shield allow you to blink around, which I didn't see Dan use. I still think Combat gets repetitive though but I haven't gotten very far.

I feel like drew might be more equipped to show this to Dan.

But hey I'll take a double D quicklook anyway i can get it.

Oh come on. That's not even remotely possible. SO many people love that game.

So that makes it bad? Someones doesn't like it so that means you don't either?

I watched someone from the development team stream this game, and it really seems to be all about blinking all over the place. Seems like something you'll get a lot more out of if you're into shooting games, and not so much things like Arx Fatalis

For whatever reason they still insist on using a controller for first person PC games. /sigh

This game actually looks pretty good. Might have to keep an eye on it.

I will play this for the art.

I can see Dan having this revelation one day and then opening a sushi bar.

If anything, I think the spell effects look really awesome.

TB did a more in depth video on this for anyone who wants to know more about how the magic system works.

Game is not great. Seems like it was written and conceived by a kid in high school. I always found the dev videos funny. It was like nerds who were way too into mages. Like they were WWF chars. They would have heated arguments about how cool mages were that reach a fever point of turning it into a game.

Looking really generic and kind of boring. Slow combat, run backwards at all times and slowly lob balls.

Maybe the crafting stuff makes it more interesting.

Game looks crap. if dan can mash A to kill dudes, no need for him to even learn the crafting/upgrade system

This is not the game for me but this has a lot of interesting ideas in it. I like the idea of just being a badass mage, running around, blowing stuff up while slowly upgrading my spells to be even bigger and better.

I hope this does well enough for the developer to keep iterating on this idea.

instead of playing this game, which looks all nice and well, these two young men should really be playing more metal gear. I don't know why that isn't a daily thing, like endurance runs of yore.

Looks much better than what I played of it. I really loved the dash that hurts enemies, that they didn't show here which makes for fun movement.

I haven't heard good things about this game's crafting system, to put it lightly. It doesn't look very good.

@murdoc_: I'm not saying this game's great, but played by someone who knows what they're doing, it's actually really fast paced.

I wonder if there is a Black Hole spell. Seriously, I've been playing a lot of Diablo 3's Mage class and I have fallen in love with the Black Hole spell. Actually, I've always gone with the Warrior/Fighter type guy when playing RPG's and have never really cared for Mages, but D3's Mage - and especially the Black Hole spell - have significantly altered my opinion about such things. I'm sure into Mages right now, so I may give this a try.

'cause they gotta make free content as well. And variety is good.

This game looks really cool. It reminds me of Heretic but mixed with painkiller elements maybe. I don't know.

I'll definitely be picking this up on steam. I want to support what this game seems to be selling.

This game looks really good, visually. I don't think it's worth 40 of my dollars, especially since I also just bought Runers, a smaller game with a similar concept, but a sale purchase from me for sure.

I watched Total Biscuit play this. I watched Dan play this. I still don't completely get the crafting stuff, it's so confusing. And even the layout of the spells, though stylish and flashy, is confusing.

Oh and I started playing as a girl, so the dude is my guiding hawk thing.
