Quick Look: Lost Planet 2 Co-op Demo

That looks fun. It would be cool to play that with 3 other dudes.

Ahhhh, a fan blowin' in the cool air from the summer rain, a tuna sub, Giant Bomb quick looks, and capcom games. Life is perfect at this moment.

none of my friends will get this game, and the single-player looks like ass. I think I'll pass.

hehe, he started out badass too...then it all went downhill.

I liked the demo, except for the lacking feedback. Some kind of combat log, wich displays the damage I deal, would help a lot. When shooting a monster for a couple of minutes, the lack feedback about the damage I deal is quite an issue.  Also, the HUD is a mess.
 
Other than that, I think the coop multiplayer has a lot of potential and is quite a lot of fun. And it's pretty too.

This game looks lame.

That AI was pretty bad.  I know it's a co-op game, and that it's early, but RE5 had the same problem and really suffered if you didn't play with a friend.

First game's MP was awesome.  Makes me wonder why people hate on the first one so much and then the same people think the 2nd one looks awesome.  It looks like the first game just with more kewl stuff added and no more snow.
 
Hated the default movement tho.  Like the one you are using in the vid.  Liked the option better where the crosshair is fixed in the center of the screen.

I'm sorry but that is just insanity...

I hope there's some sort of persistence to that "monter hunting" if you will, maybe you can craft your own armor and weapons from monster parts or something.
 
Other than that it looks like Lost Planet which was an 'ok' action game with lots of issues.

This demo was so crazy when we had 3 people in it. Definitely a crazy ass game.

I like the first Lost Planet and the sequel looks like it's the first game on Steroids.  
 
Oh, and there's a new QL death victim in town. Jeff has become the new Brad. ;)

That helicopter blade looking thing on the guys back annoys the hell out of me. I duno the character designs just look seriously stupid (especially that monster). It's totally screams "giant enemy crab, attack his weak point for massive damage".
