Quick Look: Machinarium

This game looks pretty awesome. But it's a point and click adventure, which means I probably won't get it...

i hope that now more people will buy this game. it's really awesome :)

This looks kind of neat. Not sure I'd enjoy the more taxing puzzles, but the style and music were pretty sweet.

I like the idea of playing through a point and click, but quite honestly, I don't think I have what it takes to solve these kinds of abstract puzzles.  I'd probably get frustrated at not "getting" a puzzle - that and I am impatient.  So while I really enjoyed the quicklook and I think this game is a great game and I am happy for the indie developers, it just isn't for me.  But I would gladly watch someone else play through the game.

" @Crono: There's a hint system in the game which shows you the solution to most situations. So what's stopping you? If something gets too abstract or complicated (all puzzles are completely logical btw), you just pop up that key shoot 'em up and get the solution that way.  I played through this game a couple of months ago. It's a great experience. One of the highlights of last year to me. "

Puzzles seem way to difficult for me but the art style and humor I like.

This was my number 3 in my Top Ten of 2009 list. I played through it twice and got the soundtrack. Glad you duders are diggin it.

This game is great, I totally recommend it.

Game looks great. I really like the look of the game, the puzzles are interesting, and just the music is mellow and excellent. I might pick this up sometime.

Cute, quirky and AWESOME!

The actual puzzles can be annoying sometimes, the cheat system is neat.  The music, visuals, sound and such are epic!  Reminds me of Myst + Quake 2.
 
Only thing I wish, I wish it would scale to fullscreen...

The OST bonus tracks are available free. I'm playing this game at the moment with my girlfriend and really enjoying it :D

looks like a bad dream, which in this case is a very very good thing.
 
the thing they did differently was they but the ramp on the other rail, the lower one closer to the bottom of the screen.

Fun game, but it is really difficult to see some of the main objects you have to interact. i wish they would have somehow  highlighted them a little more. Just in the QL you will see in the second phase that control box where you have to be really small, and the wiring in the 3rd screen.

This is a really great game and its great that it got a quick look even though the puzzles at the end can get intense. 

I had heard some good things about this for a while now, but didn't really stop to see what the game was like. Man this looks awesome, definitely picking up.
