How many EA sports logos can we fit into the cutscenes and the over elaborate menus??

It's amazing how they can make it snow only inside the stadium. Impressive things are happening in football these days!

I'm not the biggest football or madden fan in the world or anything but this was pretty painful to watch. Kinda get the sense they've never played madden or heard of football before...

regardless of how badly they probably played it, i absolutely love this quick look. watching it after a long first day back was a good choice

Sorry Madden fans, this game looks terrible. Their criticisms of the menus, animations, announcing, and gameplay were well deserved. Now you understand my disappointment with NHL 13, and if they did a QL for that I would expect them to savage it as well.

I laughed so loud that I nearly shattered windows.

Never expected a Madden Quick Look to be so hilarious. Put Jeff and Vinny together and it's gold every time!

At 11:05 when its showing an overhead view of the stadium, you can see that the stadium and the field itself are blanketed in snow but with all of the surrounding area around it it just seems like a really nice summer evening when the grass and trees are a really nice green.

So, I'm from Europe, meaning that I have no effin clue how football even works (and why it is called football) and, as I understand it, you need to run to the other side of the field with this egg-thing and other people try to take it away from you. Which seems pretty simple but every time I glance at a Madden game it seems like the most complex thing in the history of the universe, at least according to the menus and options. And then one guy throws a thing and another guy tries to catch it and run. And that is fine, I'm not interested in learning football. But because of that I almost didn't watch this Quicklook and this has to be one of the best QL of this years. I still have no idea what's going on but I freaking loved every second of it.

Football is actually very complicated. It's called football because it was originally based on rugby football. You said you weren't interested in learning how American football works, so I won't bore you with the details, but it's a very complex game, so it makes sense that the games would complex as well.

I like football a lot, but I think I'd like it even more if it was actually played with eggs.

I loved this QL even without any knowledge/interest in American football, it was hilarious & made me go back to watch the NCAA QL too :-)

Jeff's knowledge of football is very strange. He knows you should run on first and second and pass on third, but he doesn't know who won the Super Bowl last year. He scoffs at the notion of selection a 3:4 or a 4:3 but he knows what a hot route is.

I feel like they should do two QL's for Madden games. One is this, two people who have no idea what football is fucking around. One with people who actually know the sport and the game talking about it. It's one of the many frustrating things about Alex being NY-based. He's been reviewing football games for a long time and also actually watches the sport.

It's also one of the frustrating things about the staff setup. Because football doesn't interest them, we get minimal coverage. While they've mocked the notion of having a dedicated "sports guy" on the staff, sometimes you see why that exists. While I'm not a huge Gamespot fan, borrowing one of their editors for a QL like this, along with someone like Patrick who knows at least a little about football, would be great.
