This just finished downloading on my xbox so I am pulling out of the quicklook 2 minutes in.

I was already sold on this from the EX quicklook, I hope there's word of a PC version soon.

This game looks great. Making stealth mechanics feel right and failures feel justified is no easy feat.

Looks awesome.

Hope this comes to other platforms. Gotta agree with Brad though, why wasn't this part of Summer of Arcade?

the only other platform would be pc as klei has expressed interest in it someday... as for ps3 you're s.o.l. its a microsoft game studios published game and they have already said in an AMA on reddit that it has about as much likelihood as halo on ps3.

I don't think I've meant this so literally about a game in a while but, this looks fucking amazing!

Someone doesn't know how the scoring system works. There is no perfect score on Giantbomb, just very very good scores.

It's getting univerally great reviews.

The character art style looked so amateurish in the first Shank. But this looks much better. The use of perspective and detail really make it look as good as it should.

I understand five stars is just the highest form of recomendation they have, I still don't think any of the listed games deserves it. Perhaps Brad think so, but then I don't really care that much.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. I think Brad gives 5 star reviews FAR too easily, especially to inddy titles which when I play are do not blow my mind nearly as much as the reviews indicate.

But then the Reviews are really a side feature of this site.

Do you not like good games or something? Brad's sentiments are usually spot-on with these highly-polished XBLA Indie titles.

Stop misusing the word.

If you rotate Zoro's 'Z' 90 degrees to the clockwise, you get 'N'. If we agree that the mark of the Ninja is 'N', it follows that Zoro was a ninja who liked to slash his ninja tag sideways for extra rad points.

This totally makes me want to jump into a stealth game. I think I'll be waiting for this to come out on either PS3 or Steam though.

There is as much of a chance of Journey coming to XBLA as this game coming to PSN.

Meaning zero chance.

Windows 8 seems possible though.

@SamDrugbringer: @Christoffer: *shrugs* He's not bullshitting, or having the wool pulled over his head. They are genuinely good games that he is very genuinely pretty enthusiastic about. He likes games. He's not being objective because that's nigh-impossible when reviewing something because it's so intrinsically subjective. Even things most would consider "bad" systems can be thought of as good by others. If Brad enjoys it enough to give it a 5, he's not going to give it a 4 just because you want him to be objective.

It's fine if you want to get a different opinion because you don't always agree with him, but acting like he somehow fails his grand charge as Review Master is a little silly. He likes games, he's enthusiastic, and easily the least cynical guy on the staff. If you prefer more cynicism, that's understandable. But don't expect a review to be anything but subjective, because quality only goes so far with it. I'd give Dragon Age: Origins 5 stars but looking at it objectively many wouldn't because of it's often unforgiving difficulty spikes and unimpressive visuals. Personally the difficulty spikes were what proved that game to me, much like they did for Dark Souls for others (and that one's starting to get it's hooks into me, although I almost certainly wouldn't ever give it 5 stars). See what I mean? Plenty would give Dark Souls a "perfect" score but it certainly doesn't deserve it from my point of view. I don't think that that makes anyone else's opinion on the game less valid.

Yep, this game is in my kinda wheelhouse. Will get.

Calm down. That's just one of the things they don't personally like about those type of stealth games, they never called those games "terrible".

@Christoffer Wow really? So you need to hear some thoughts about a game before you consider buying it? Here's a thought. Watch the 40 minute video about the game and form your own opinion. I won't even get into the high praise those other games deserve. Seems like nothing will change your mind.

Hearing them talk about Metal Gear, one of the big things that people never realize is that Caution mode is not an alert state, you're expected to run around during caution, its just an alternate patrolling route for enemies. I kinda wish they'd indicate caution mode differently because it fools people into thinking that they have to hide still.

This needs to come to PSN or Steam.

This game looks so much better than it did in the earlier EX. With them cracking jokes and being silly, it instantly highlighted the -fun-.
