Why is jeff never enthusiastic? He has (in my opinion) such a great personality besides that. It might suit other people who share indifference about most things. For me... it kind of gets me down.

I watch some other reviewers, and they are like, yeah - this game got "4/10", it's got some really big faults, but they did this so god damn well. And this was a fantastic idea. And I love how they did this.

I don't think I have ever seen jeff genuinely 'moved' by something in his vocal tone or body language.

You know what I think? I think things do excite him. He just never shows it. - The only problem with that is that it will influence easily influenced fans. And they will mistake jeff's method of speaking with a genuine lack of interest - and skip something based on that.

I will always be a huge fan of giant bomb, and Jeff's one of my favorites on here. It's just that one thing occasionally grates me the wrong way.

I played 60 hours of the multiplayer co-op on the demo and I'm going to play at least as much on the retail game. It is solid and a lot of fun.

Edit: Melee is super effective. What are you talking about Jeff?

Filmgrain sucked in ME1, Brad. In ME2 filmgrain was better but I turned it off after the first playthrough.

I really didn't enjoy the multiplayer in this game. It takes forever to complete a match and is overly difficult to even complete until you level up significantly.

Not to mention it's trying to be fast-paced but Mass Effect's controls are just clunky enough to make it not feel right.

Not buying this until a later date (broke student that can't justify dumping funds on this). Will avoid for spoilers but I'm interested in people's opinions after the hype has died down.

The demo on the Playstation 3 had an awful framerate, hope that isn't the case for the full game as it was hard to play.

I still think It'd be interesting if they locked comments until x minutes after a video's post date, where x is the length of the video itself.

That's right, a math problem.

Also, I'm still frightened to actually start playing Mass Effect 3. I really liked 2, although, going back to it, its faults are pretty clear, and I don't want 3 to continue through with those faults, though it seems it has.

I still can't believe Jeff plays through the game as a Soldier. That sounds like the most boring way to play. Granted, you get your team members to do cool biotic/tech stuff by your side, but Soldier just seems largely like trying to turn it into a plain old shooter.

Oh, come on! I have to paint my apartment. I don't have time for this right now.

I actually really like the store concept in the multiplayer. It reminds me of Pokemon cards. Opening up a fresh pack and hoping for a shiny. So much more interesting to me than say Black Ops where you just buy what you want.

Jeff enjoys a generic shooter more than almost any other reviewer I know. Something about merc'ing dudes never gets old to Jeff.

Also, Jeff might be forgetting the N7 missions in Mass Effect 2. I just got done playing them and it's either a short shooting sequence, or arena combat/survival. Just shooting lots of enemies. I was fine with it, but Mass Effect 2 had them. It isn't just laziness in 3.

Cannibals are converted Batarians, Marauders are Turians and etc.... Guess Jeff didn't look at the Codex at all.

Actually, the reapers spent centuries the last time they came killing almost all organic life. Not a week. They explain that in 1 and more in 2. The Protheans lasted for over a hundred years trying to defeat them.

Some actually survived but died off due to lack of resources.

Mass Effect 3 - best on PC.

i agree mass effect without singularity just wouldn't be as fun for me

I'm on PC, and it controls fine. Also, I find Bronze difficulty stupidly easy past level 10. I can carry any team with my Krogan Sentinel, just by headbutting EVERYTHING.

@AlisterCat: Isn't that the ME combat in a nutshell? Go to choke point, kill all enemies, continue. The only variety comes from the different ammo types and how they affect the different enemy types.

I'm not too far in the game, love it so far, but my BIGGEST quarrel and it may seem dumb, but if you import a ME1 character into 2 and import that ME2 character into 3, the face doesn't import. Not a huge deal, but seriously, it took me slightly out of MY Shepard's story, considering it isn't "him" that I'm playing as now. I made him look similar, but he doesn't compare to my old Shepard at all. You can't even add scars.

I liked the scanning.

Asari Adept was also my favorite class in the demo (hopefully I unlock it in the full game soon).  Stasis bubble so so good.

good lord Jeff, use your medi-gel! also, I played Asari Adept with just a pistol and power spamming.

This game looks boring as hell.

I'm always surprised by the massive load times on console versions of games I've played on PC.

It's not, but it's all preference in the end I suppose. I like playing a soldier cause it's what makes sense to -me- as to what Shepard would be.

I think I will play as a renegade.

I want to watch this but I need to avoid any Mass Effect 3 related stuff till I'm done with my first playthrough.

Renegade - That space dude from that game! Versus....wait for it..waaait for it... THE MARAUDERS..from that other alien'ish game!

Oh my lord... The spoiler warning siren totally made me jump. Son of a...Haha.

Edit: I also had the "loading issue" they had with customizing armor, even with the game installed.

That loading thing that pops up in the middle of nowhere looks so...wrong =|
