I usually get annoyed when people say this, but...I don't get why you'd buy this one with the PC version available, unless you reeeeeally like achievement points.

I just feel like Minecraft on Xbox wouldn't really work very well. It feels like it would be slower and just less fun. Plus what about texture packs and skins?

Just picked up a 4000 point card, got Awesomenauts today and getting Minecraft when? Wednesday? I am actually really excited because i am not a big PC gamer and running Minecraft on my laptop causes it to run at about 80 degrees which is odd since i can play Starcraft 2, WOW and Diablo 3 without any heat issues.

None the less i am super fucking excited to play it laid out of my sofa in super lazy mode.

I've watched a lot of Minecraft commentary in my time, but hearing Jeff and Ryan do this Quick Look made me feel really uncomfortable, and inexplicably dirty.

I think Jeff's colour-blindness might have made him overlook it, though I don't know what colours he has trouble picking out, so I might be wrong.

@SharkMan: i meant what's the point of putting it on consoles. it's pretty pc friendly and most people who want/wanted to try it, like myself, most likely already have it

As a side note, the Minecraft wiki page is exhaustive.

It's cute that they made a little version for xbox, but yeah this really should be played on pc to get the full benefit, not to mention any pc because it's java, I personally play it on a Linux machine, but on my lunch break at work will play it on a Windows machine, or I'll boot into Linux from a flash drive to play that way so I can play on servers (work blocks the port, use tethered phone to building's wifi, or my 4g)

Why limit Minecraft on an xbox? they should make a version for 3ds and/or vita instead so it's at least portable
