I like Minecraft but I have to agree with Ryan. I dont like that this game has no direction and I find that gets boring.

I still don't understand Minecraft.

I could watch them play it all day, I play the PC version quite regularly. This version looks really different what with the crafting, but the multiplayer looks a lot eaiser. Because single player Minecraft stays single player on the PC, and setting up a server is such work. This still makes me bummed it's not coming to PS3, make it happen Notch!

@LordXavierBritish: Uhhh it doesn't, this is an older version of it.

The ending is what I remember of Minecraft on the PC, just messing around and messing with peoples places (in a mostly non-destructive way).

Having played the PC version for a considerable amount of time, I almost shit my pants when Jeff walked right past that vein of diamond at the beginning. DIAMOND!!!!!

Now Brad is gonna have to sleep on the floor.

I have and will continue to play ZERO hours of this game. Zero minutes and seconds also.

Not really sure why so many people are confused about why anyone would play this on a console when it's readily available on PC. Some people just strictly don't mess around with PC games at all. Console is my preference, so while the PC version may be a more feature-filled game, I would just rather not sit at my computer.

I'll be giving this a try, though I think my short attention span will win out in the end.

As soon as I saw Brad's house, I reaaalllyy wanted Jeff to burn it down. That was my first thought...

This is exactly the QL I was hoping for, for this Monday. I really liked the PC and Mac versions but this is the version I plan to really get into.

dude something about the camera in that quicklook made me feel like I was gonna barf. I don't know if it was the lack of focus, or just swimmy camera, but I couldn't watch the whole thing in one sitting..

Yeah, if you;re gonna get into the guts and do some things, get the PC version... if your just gonna mess around with some friends and do stuff, get thisd version. It kinda depends on how deep into Minecraft you are willing to go.

This is a great description.

Recently I tried to play online with friends on the PC version and we had to go to a server with crazy people as for some reason our home made servers just would not work.

On 360 we'll be able to pop on and build some crazy mine shafts, some good looking homes with underground lairs and be satisfied.

I think they reduced the fov. sometimes gives people motion sickness.
