Whenever people describes a game as "interesting" I can't help but think they're basically saying "I don't wanna play it, but I guess it's not terrible". Sort of just sounds like a back-handed compliment.

More like Murdered: Soul Reject.

Interesting = it has a good idea but could be executed better.

Why do ghosts seem to retain their clothes from when they were alive?

Salem today was not the site of the witch trials, what was known as Salem village back then is now known as Danvers, massachusetts. Which I only know because Danvers was the site of the first NecronimiCon HPL convention.

Should give it a try then. Some of my favorite games got "meh" reviews...and this one is more mixed than plain bad.

I plan on getting this when it goes on sale.

Seems like a case of interesting premise but poor execution.

This looks better than I had expected. Not super great, but I'd certainly play it at some point.

Some interesting ideas, but I'd much rather play L.A. Noire.

Also from what I've seen so far, this seems about like what I was expecting... A pretty good story marred by the dumb demon shit, because they had to have some sort of adversary or it would just be a visual novel I guess.

I'm glad it doesn't degenerate in to a shooter/hack and slash. It's nice to see big budget games do something unique.

This game looked kind of corny. It arrives from GameFly tomorrow (there's really nothing else to rent on PS4 right now, so decided to give it a try). I hope it's good... *presses play*

I'm being enthusiastic.

You gotta feel a little bad for these kinds of games sometimes. The ones that come out with little to no fanfare the week before the insanity of E3. I doubt this game will have any success at all.

Solid frame rate. Looks like a cool game.

I've been waiting nearly a year to confirm my suspicions that Ronan O'Connor wasn't spelled 'Ronin'. It was all worth it.

Reminds me of Ghost Trick Detective...I think I'll just replay that. In all serious this doesn't look awful, but it doesn't look amazing especially when it seems like other past games have done the investigation thing way better. My love for anything ghost tricking will probably make me buy it or another copy of Geist.

If he can walk through walls, why doesn't he fall through the floor? I found it kind of funny that he still had to use the stairs.

I don't know about the floor, but for what it's worth, the whole can't get into a building without being invited has some basis in like, other ghost and supernatural shit. Or at least i've seen it in other places.

This release came out of nowhere, I thought they pitched the idea on PAX and announced it for the end of the year.

it's too bad this didn't turn out great. they should have gone all-in on making their ghost detective game and left the bad stealth mechanics at home. damn shame though, publishers this big usually don't produce games that aren't about fighting.

I'll probably play this at some point still, it seems neat if a little rough.
