Note though @alex@vinny, thank you for QLing this game, it means a lot that it's just another game to you two. The point to acceptance is to just realize homosexuality is normal, and not make it a *Special* QL. Just another game, happens to have gay characters, much worse adventure game QLs done.

What a fucking bummer. Just like LGBT movies, the focus is on sex and innuendo and it's not even good about it, so it becomes eye-rolling.

The game also just looks like hot shit, totally inconsistent art that looks like it's been made in Flash in one scene and drawn with crayons in another.

Hmm, when everything is so chock full of innuendo, I can't tell when something is being played straight. Like a talking elevator saying "going up/down" could be taken at face value, but...it probably shouldn't be.

This game was funnier than I was expecting.

Watching someone who already knows exactly what to do play an adventure game (complete with skipping dialogue) makes the pacing seem really off though. Not that getting stuck is fun to watch either. Maybe in this case Vinny should have been at the controls and Alex could have helped if things went bad. But I don't know, you guys are the experts, keep up the good work!

Gregg Araki should be involved in a videogame. At least his movies have plenty of LGBT stuff but are really interesting movies besides that (like I didn't know that stuff until it was pointed out to me he was gay and Mysterious Skin).

These jokes don't seem worth it for all the obtuse puzzles and backtracking you have to do.

As a gay friend, I find this pretty shallow (as you said, lazy) but I am going to give it a go.

Sometimes I watch Will & Grace. I expect some pretty basic, stereotypical, stuff. Other times I watch Looking or Queer as Folk.

What I am trying to say is that I think there is a place in all media for dumb or gritty or thoughtful. This game is one of those, I look forward to getting the other styles also. I am not going to have a go at this game, or it's creators, for not being the creation that pushes forward my cause. It's a stupid game and I hope I have a few stupid laughs playing it.

It's a gay Leisure Suit Larry. The jokes are just as hokey, but charming that they stick to jokes so lame.

That might be the weirdest thing I've ever read on the internet. The tone of the discworld games is so completely different to this I can't even begin to understand.

There was nothing really funny about this whatsoever. If these exact same situations and jokes were applied to a game that dealt with straight relationships, it would be labeled as a crass nonsense. Honestly the best part of the video was Vinny's glee at the stupidity of some of the visual gags. The game itself was not in anyway funny.

I don't really think everything needs to be super-serious. There's a lot of gold to be mined out there for silly, sexualized gay-themed games, it's just not being mined very well.

I'm still waiting for a Bayonetta-like game with a flamboyantly gay dude as the main character.

I shit you not I just happened to be eating one of these while watching this. We usually don't keep them in the house but just had them this week for a change. Its a rainbow colored popsicle everyone!

Or no, I won't support this game because it seems absolutely awful. Leisure Suit Larry, Gay Edition could be the name.

I'm not sure why Alex and Vinny are giving this a pass. The writing and puzzle design are terrible and the art style hovers somewhere below competent.
