when i saw a stream of this the other day, the time it took to harvest every little piece of stuff immediately seemed like something i wouldn't want to put up with . why make someone look at circles filling up for several seconds all the time? looking forward to this quick look, though - it's SPACE time again!

Thus far from what I see it looks like it's scratching an itch I haven't been able to satisfy since Freelancer.

Been trying to avoid a lot of the preview stuff for this game, but I guess I should watch this and try to figure out if I'm actually buying this game or not.

My problem with this game is the same as with the new Star Wars movie. The depiction of the scale of space is totally wrong. Why are all the planets right next to each other?

@optimalpower: I was gonna say the same thing. I was just playing Halo 3 again recently and thought "wow, can't believe we put up with this low FOV in 2007." Don't know how anyone can play like this in 2016, it upsets my stomach.

This game actually looks pretty cool to me, I will be considering getting it.

But oh my gosh that 50/75% way through the video what is an animal chat was honestly shocking to hear. I mean I thought that all was like basic first grade stuff in a way I was shocked at how uncertain they all were if a chicken is a mammal or not.....I thought at least Vinny would know he actually seems a bit more educated. I don't mean this as any insult just saying I was surprised :) This GBeast team really is great.

But I really enjoyed the video! With all the stuff the last week or so I was getting worried about the game. I still want to see more to see if I want it or not, but man does it look compelling to me. Some systems in the game are [reasonably so] simplistc, but man just exploring actually looks really awesome.

That ship they see at 2:37 that looks like some fucking ghetto ass early satellite with wings that look like solar panels, fuuuuuuck.
