I think it's just recorded on Amiga era rompler synthesizers, like the Roland D-50 and stuff like that (which, along with the 303 seemed to be the dominating source for the samples in mod music throughout the 90's). The music in this game seems to have hard stops/fades and then start again from the beginning, unlike mod music which had loop points to avoid that.

But yeah, that was some great sounding music, I did not get sold on the writing though, which is kinda weird as apparently both Patrick and Ryan enjoyed that part, but less so the music.

I don't really care about PA, but hot damn. I like everything about this.

Some surprising surprises this week. Tiny and Big, Resonance, and now this.

watched 9 minutes and 12 seconds. Stopped video, want game.

Usually people getting frustrated with the GB guys' lack of knowledge about a game bugs me, but I'll sit on the other side of that fence for a change.

I played through the first two episodes on Steam in the last couple of weeks, and they might have been better served thinking Episode 3 was a new IP. They could have made about a dozen wrong guesses about qualities of the first two games in this Quick Look.

Regardless, the game's really good and though I miss the art in the first two episodes, the combat is more fun in Episode 3, and the combat was my favourite feature of the other games too. It has a lot of modern sensibilities that circumvent a lot of the tedious parts of RPGs.
