Alright, Jeff. Sell me on this game.

I'm interested to see if this actually has merit or if it's just a quick cash in.

Oh Playstation All-Stars. The game they made that nobody wanted. The marketing for it was hilarious. They knew nobody gave a shit about it and that it was just a terrible smash ripoff with characters that noone cared about. But they did it anyway!

Hey this looks like a game I like and since I like it, I might like this game too!

Like how they mash up two different game backgrounds together but the gameplay seems excessively boring to me. Hopefully this will be a hit with the fans but it looks like this is just not for me.

It's a game that doesn't look nearly as exciting as it feels. If there's a demo, play it. I doubt there will be, just given that they had that extended open beta.

Never liked fighting games or the Smash Brothers formula but good on Sony for trying.

I get the idea but the Smash people will stick to Smash, the actual fighting game people will stick to whatever Capcom shits out :/

Patrick's reaction to the Bioshock Infinite content is just great. It is an honestly bizarre inclusion. I don't know what that game is about or associate it to the Playstation brand at all.

This looks super disappointing. Nice to see Jesse from Breaking Bad is stepping in for Dante though.

Aside from issues of the roster and being a Smash Bros clone, the moment to moment gameplay just seems so pointless. You could strip all the fanservice out of Smash Bros and, while it wouldn't be half as popular, the knock-off-the-platform gameplay is at least amusing enough to warrant its own existence as a game.

Here, the focus on supers gives more credence to flashiness than any sort of substance and the actual fighting appears to be moments of mindless busy-work in between the flashy fanservice. Once you see all of that and get bored with it, there isn't much left to focus on-- I can't even imagine that "being good" at this game is even possible.

No Kain and/or Raziel? no Red Faction? No Crash? Like they said, no Cloud? I mean, the roster just seems so out of place...

Game looks like it could be fun with some buddies and some liquor. Sans the liquor even.

Not a Nintendo fanboy I didn't care for Smash bros. but I I could follow that this seems.... err just random.

I played about an hour of this today, and you know what, it isn't bad.

I think watching the game does it a great disservice. Playing it is something completely different, and it definitely isn't like SSB. Aesthetically? Sure; but functionally, not at all.

It definitely has some problems, but it isn't too bad overall.

I don't understand how they don't know some of those references. The giant robot in the Bioshock level was from Twisted Metal and the walking robot in the Parapa level was from Resistance.

this looks alright, i could see me and some buddies sitting down for some local fighting.

Despite the look of it, this is not a Wii U launch title.

I mean, the game doesn't look terrible or anything, but some of the roster choices are just baffling.

Not a fan of the menu UI.

Meh, call me crazy but I think it looks pretty fun. Far from perfect, yes, but I'll be picking up a copy. The moment to moment action on top of the level design and general fanservice is right up my alley.

Only thing that truly bugs me is the menus and interface and all that. They just look super boring and lazy as fuck.

Some of the character choices are also weird, but none of them really bother me that much.

But whatever, to each his own I guess. I'm happy. Looks good. Sold.

Haha, the went to safe for you with the characters. I can tell you right now that most of my gamer friends wouldn't recognize anyone outside of Big Daddy, Kratos, Drake, Heihachi and Sackboy. And even Heihachi isn't a given because he looks way too young.

Dante looks like Justin Beiber.

The frame rate is so much faster than what I remember from the beta...

I'm glad to see Kratos is still outrageously OP

It doesn't look as interesting as Smash Bros, but if my friend gets it I'll play it. It doesn't look terrible, I just wish the roster was more inspired than what it is. It really could have used more PS1 era characters rather than pull everyone from the last 6 years. Sir Dan and Spike are the most interesting picks in the whole game.
