Quick Look: Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

I got the DLC pack for 20$.
 
Worth every goddamn penny, especially Undead Nightmare.

Looks awesome. Will get it soon when I'm in zombie mood.

Fun to watch, but not a fan of either zombies or open world games, so this is probably about the worst possible game/dlc for me. 
 
Still fun to watch other people play it for a bit.

This DLC seems kind of excellent.

I know most of you will think this is silly, but I really wish games like this would include Gears of War-esque options for editing the more raunchy or extreme content (i.e. language, gore, sex, etc.) It's easy for the developers to include such an option and it increases the range of audience for a game.
 
I also realize the general story of RDR is really gritty, but it would be nice to be able to play this without having to compromise on my own values. That's why I won't play it. It even seems more honorable than GTA where you're just a dirtbag. John Marston seems like a dude trying to, you know, find redemption and fix his past.
 
But whatever. I'm speaking on deaf ears here. Rockstar is the company that brought us GTA and Manhunt.

Wish they would've shown more of the cutscenes, I don't wanna get this just yet; playing some other stuff and have yet to finish RDR.

How could people say this is a GOTY in any sense of the word? 
90 percent of the game was boring ass horse riding. The other 5 percent was shooting from cover and the other 5 percent was just miscellaneous garbage. 
 
When gamers say that this is a good story, it's obvious they don't have any standards for story telling. You need to stop comparing stories in video games as if they're in their own media bubble, but compare it to books/movies.  
Put this story as a movie and it'd be the most cliche, dumb thing ever. 
  
The world was boring as well but that's by design, no real way to make it interesting like the GTA4 world was.

 Brad is a follower. It's just his character. Red Dead is a boring game and I tried hard to like it and it had its moments but it's just boring.  "

Good call not showing the opening cutscene and skipping alot of the dialogue, Brad. Definitely wouldn't want anyone to be impressed by anything you show in the Quick Look or something crazy like that.

my wife got me the GOTY of this game a few days ago and i have to say its the best Rockstar game to date. here's hoping GTAV and MP3 will be just as good

Rockstar may take their time, especially with DLC, but the end result always seems worth it.

Just started playing this and I came across a town full of invisible people - just clothes walking around with no hands or heads. I thought it was part of the story and shot one causing all the townspeople to shoot and kill me. Reloaded, they all looked normal, turned out to just be a glitch.

I seem to be the only person watching this on 2017, but I love me some red dead, and love me some giant bomb, wish this came out when they started their hour+ long quick looks!
