funny story, i decided to pull this game out of a dusty box and beat it on pro, took a break hopped on giantbomb and saw a quicklook for it

also Leon S kennedy S stands for Scott

and the PS2 version was superior

The S stands for Suga

RE4 is not the best game ever made lol maybe the most influential of the PS2/GC era and a really good game but that's all

I remember playing this game when it just came out for the Gamecube. It blew my fucking balls off.

I played through this game in HD on the PC. It's a terrible port, but if you mess with some settings, you can get it running fantastically!

I can't believe they didn't shoot the fish from the dock before they got in the boat!!! What happens is my single greatest memory from that game.

I loved RE4 but I can't see myself buying and playing it a third time, especially not on a regular controller after playing through the wii version. Also not getting what makes this an HD release. Upped resolution?

There's a couple people in the comments of this video that admit to having never played it before. It happens, man. Hell, they even spoiled one or two things for me in here - I got about 60% through RE4 before I ended up putting the game down for some reason.

GiantBomb does this a lot. They just assume that because a game is older than 9 months, it's open season on spoilers. Maybe I can't blame them on something as old as Resident Evil 4, though, but I hate feeling like it's my fault they're spoiling things. That's a really crappy thing to put on the viewer.

God damn watching Brad play is like passing kidney stones. What the fuck? Brad needs to stop sucking at video games... Jesus fucking Christ...

Come on people, I know, Brad sometimes screws up spectacularly (Ico Collection), but he was doing okay here. There's no need to bash him for bashing's sake.

Duders, the game came on TWO discs, the tiny gamecube discs held about 1.9gbs of data each. It really doesn't matter but since Brad & Vinny didn't remember it in this QL and spewed out some falsehoods instead I had to point it out! D:

I like how this game is better than Deadly Premonition still, and for a second I zoned out and thought Vinny and Brad had an endurance DP episode together and I was like.... whoa...

when youre getting the pocket watch, youre supposed to shoot the plank of wood holding the well cover up, then shoot down the watch. that lets you pick up the shiny brass pocket watch, and its value will be 10000, rather than 1000.

This game is so gawtlike.

You know how you dodge the log, Brad? By steering the boat out of the way of it. Confusing, I know.

Does anyone else have problems with the resolution in this version?

fudging hell! HD? my ar*h! looks like the exact same ps2 version stuck onto XBLA to earn a profit.

The PC version with mods looks HD compared to this sh1t. Leon being wh*red out for some cheapo ar*h money.
