Quick Look: Resonance

Wow, this quick look actually made me interested enough to buy this game. I'm not an adventure game fan at all, but game looks great!

Great video guys... I'll be picking this game up as soon as I can.

This game looks pretty good, also on steam in Europe so will check it out

It was great to hear the dynamic duo together again. Ahhhh... all is right with the GB world.

This is a wonderful game! I'm not what we may call a hard core adventure gamer and yet I've been addicted to this game from the start, 9 hours in and still not tired or bored of it.

If you love adventure games go for it, and if you don't give it a try, it may make you like them.

Vinnie always goes with his gut........going in the post office and getting smoked......lol

The game is $9.99 from their site. Actually looks really interesting and I don't much care for adventure games.

i totally thought that the name of the company was Wah-jedi, like Waluigi. Would have been cool. Going to pick this one up from Wadjet Eye.

Congrats man, looks like another great game from you guys. I'll be picking this one up soon. It makes me glad to see quality people keeping the adventure genre alive and well.

After buying this, the best part of the game seems to be the parts covered by the Quicklook, unfortunately. The obnoxious Adventure Game logic ramps up to 11 almost immediately, and the story takes a nosedive faster than Indigo Prophecy.

Kinda shocked that this isn't currently on Steam. Love me some yummy point 'n' clicks.

Yah, Im currently stuck at the part where I have to get the FTTN number. I know where it is, but I dont know how to get the girl away from the desk, again.

But I kinda like the story so far.

I agree that there is some poor logic and poor design in a couple of puzzles: in the FFTN puzzle its obvious what to do, just doing it in the way you have to is frustrating and the phone conversation part is full of too many frustrating dead ends.

I completely disagree in comparing it to Indigo Prophecy though. To me, that game (Fahrenheit) went from interesting choice-driven murder mystery to supernatural non-sequitor matrix revolutions in only 15 minutes, leaving you gasping at the sheer rediculous-ness of what is unfolding before you.

The story of Resonance I found thrilling and very well written, a second play through shows this given the twists and are explained well by the commentary.
