Is it just me, or are fighting game quick looks not so good??

It seems like I never finish watching them, (except for the Mortal Kombat 9, and Street Fighter 4)

so wait, if each character in Sonic the Fighters had a Chaos Emerald, and the goal in the game is to collect 8 to stop Dr. Robotonic...

why don't they just all get together and say "hey here are eight emeralds"?

Ryan, the duck is from the classic Sega game Dynamite Dux, so he certainly have a legitimate place in the game since they had to find some cameos for Sonic to play with ^_^

If you really want to get pedantic, Bean is actually a pastiche of the two playable characters from Dynamite Dux, Bin and Pin.

@Nekrokreuz: The FarCry 3 Quick Look was also a bit lower than usual, FWIW.

I remember liking Fighting Vipers because it had destructible arenas and armor you could break off, which was unheard of back then in fighting games.

I'd completely forgotten about Fighting Vipers until this Quick Look. I actually used to like that game a lot--busting off women's armor and especially throwing people through the cages at the end of matches was really fun. Also, I totally never knew that Sega made a version of Fighters MegaMix for Game.com.

I bought Sonic the Fighters and got 100% Trophies in like 20 minutes or so. I'm not really into trophies or achievements, but it felt damn good to finally do it (I didn't even TRY for any of them, either).

Regardless, if you've played StF before, finally getting legit Metal Sonic, Eggman, and Candy is worth the price.

Guys, I apologize for not being able to appear in this version of Fighting Vipers. I tried to clear up my schedule, but Sega runs a tight ship and, well, things didn't work out. Better luck next time, I suppose.

Wow, never thought Jeff would actually like a Sonic themed game after Sonic CD. Kind of surprised.

Aside from that, all these games look like neat, nostalgic relics of Sega's fighting game history back in the mid-90's. But yeah, where is Fighters Megamix? That game did the weird crossover fighting scheme first before games like Marvel vs. Capcom and Super Smash Bros came out.

Hey, as long as you are able to provide thirst quenching refreshment to those who need it before having an embarrassing pratfall, it's all gravy.

I've seen this posted before and I just am not getting it. I'm at 14% volume and it's perfect.

Listen to a video uploaded by Jeff like a Jar Time and the levels are vastly different. I keep having to turn up my headphones for some of these videos.

I believe you can buy them separately on both XBLA and PSN. It's not like the other Sega classics where the games were bundled on XBLA and sold separately on PSN.

I had presumed that this was the origin of Espy the Chameleon (I remember him from Sonic Heroes and didn't know a third of the characters in that game), but according to giantbomb.com there was a side-scroller from the Sega 32X that came out before this called Knuckles' Chaotix where he (and the bee, and the crocodile from Heroes) is from. Never heard of it before!

Also, the stages in Fighting Vipers are bananas. Like, super nonsensical!

Well that was why they were called Team Chaotix.

Knuckles Chaotix is actually a pretty good game. If you've ever played the Sonic Crackers prototype, the tether mechanic from that game was incorporated into KC. Also... awesome music.

Thanks and I looked up Zotz since I'd never heard heard of them now i have to go hunt some down. I don't think I've ever seen them around here though (Northern Arkansas)

Edit: Went to a few stores today nobody knew what I was even talking about. So I ended up ordering some online 1.5 pound bag (130) assorted, for a little over $20 shipped. Thanks again guys.
