Put me in the Slenderman situation in real life though, even without the actual Slenderman, and everything falls to shambles.

Game is really pretty, I bought it knowing full well that I'm far too much of a wuss to see it through. After watching the QL I fired it up for 5 minutes, and when I got to the house I heard leaves shuffling to my right and had to quit. It's fucking scary.

Try the DreadOut demo, only 30 minutes and it's like an indonesian Fatal Frame. Made me sweat like a maniac, but would love to have your impressions :)

I was playing this the other night and i noticed that simply looking at him for a while wont end the game. If you keep you sights on him the screen will get nasty but he'll stand still. Its when you look away that he randomly appears closer.

I'm not going to play this.

With the updated version in the quick look, I'd expect some of the jump scares from other monsters in the game that are harmless (ie. werewolves, vampires, ect.) to just mess with the player more. Thought that Blair Witch 1 is interesting but found that the sequel (which has more of a story to it & more of a professional movie exploring the mythos of that franchise than the handheld camera in the first one).

@winsord: Allow me to recommend you one of my most favorite horror movie: ju on 2. It's over on netflix, but It's dated now so I don't know if it'll look silly. Also dark water 2002. Not American versions, they suck balls.

Really, the first game was a great way for them to cut their teeth.

I actually flinched a couple of times in my sofa when watching this. I look at GB content on my TV.
So if it got to me watching Ryan and Patrick talk over it I don't even want to imagine how I would playing it myself.

The distorted camera effect is a really neat trick that get's you on edge.

Even just watching that was freaky, so you know when you are in control that'll be amped up even more

I watch a ridiculous amount of horror movies, but never feel the desire to play games like this, too damn stressful, I always hate being chased/stalked in games, that's supposed to be my job D:

I'm ok watching other people do it though, fun quicklook, I enjoy hearing Ryan yhelp.

I actually yelped like a little girl at 14:45. Then I proceeded to laugh it off because it was in tandem with Ryan's scream.

Maybe I should pick this up. I'm not really affected by horror films anymore, but games like this make me so god damn tense. It's like Patrick says, nothing about it is fun. I still love the feeling.

Also, I would fucking love to see either Ryan or Patrick play more of this. Maybe a return of spookin with scoops now that Tricky has his pc?

Why would anyone would want to play a game where you are completely powerless and running all the time?
