I have never played a Sly Cooper game before, but I really enjoyed the demo of this game. I look forward to hearing if the rest of the game maintains that level of quality.

Also it's neat to see a straight up 3D platformer out there, but it's way too bad that they didn't market it... at all.

It's okay. They've got years of practice. You'll get it eventually.

I'm a huge Sly Cooper fan and highly recommend this game. I'm on chapter 2, and so far I couldn't have asked for anything else. They made Sly Cooper again, and were extremely faithful to the great gameplay and charm of the original games.

This looks great, and you get the Vita version for free if you buy it on PS3.

Takes me back to the days of well, Sly Cooper and Gex games.

I would be almost willing to sacrifice all the other reporting that Patrick does here just to have him do ALL the Quick Looks that go up, if only to relish in the impotent rage of all the people who complain whenever he helms one.

I really want this but I don't think I can justify getting it when I've not even finished the first one from the HD collection.

Looks great though.

Shame they're not promoting it. They did get it made and publish it which is better than Microsoft or Nintendo manage most of the time.

Fun Fact: Dev Madan, original Creative Director for Sucker Punch Studios (Sly Cooper Series) Attended Anthrocon 2012 as Gust of Honor. Not that he's a furry but definitely recognized for his works with anthropomorphism :3

None of this is new, it was all introduced in Sly 2 =P The only thing I saw different was the time travel and having a fourth character based on where in time you are.
Awesome Quicklook though. I want to get this eventually, but I am with Jeff in this. I liked the first sly game and them adding all the side "jobs" playing other characters than sly I didn't particularly care for and I wasn't that big of a fan of the psuedo open world (technically it always kind of was but it was made bigger in the second game and you always had to go to pick what character you want to use, then walk them to the mission- I found that monotonous). 
Still, Sly Cooper is a cool franchise. Really shitty Sony is ignoring the games their developers are releasing. I wonder why that is? Maybe they are just whole hog on the next gen console and kind of ignoring the rest of their releases. Weird, if so.

I'm gonna get this. I prefered the first Sly game simply because it was a pure platformer and I liked the simplicity of it. Sure Sly 2 and 3 was more varied but I play the Sly Cooper games because of the platforming. So I never really liked the Murray or Bentley sections that much. The boss battles in the first Sly game were all amazing and with 2 and 3 they just became lazy with them.

At least they are returning to the classic boss battles from the first installment with this game.

I might wait for a few reviews to come out for this, but I remember having a blast with 3, what with the Opera sequence and such. It seems like this new team has really found out what was so great about Sly and put together a fantastic game about it, but it really lives and dies by its humour. As long as it's funny, and the mechanics stay sound, this is a buy for me.

...this looks like an up-resed PS2 game. Neither the art direction nor the core game design look like anything that didn't already exist in 2005.

god i want to play this game so bad... all the nostalgia is hitting me I guess. But it's also refreshing to see open world done in a cartoony style after so many years of no sly cooper games.
