Quick Look: Snoopy Flying Ace

I think they just just sold me on this game.
I played the demo but didn't push the "buy" button...
I think I will buy it now. Looks really fun.

This game looks surprisingly solid. However, the whole "Peanuts in WWI" reminds me of those propaganda cartoons where Bugs Bunny picked on some caricatures of the Japanese Army. It's kind of weird and off putting.
 
Red Baron looks cool though.

This has to be one of the few odd licensed games that are actually good... and it looks damn fun to boot. Was really tempted to get it at first but I'm definitely getting it now.

Hearing Snoopy cackle after shooting down a plane gets me every time.  I want that sound in more games.  Just replace the Gears chainsaw-kill groan with that.

Brad, you haven't played Crimson Skies?  Go play it!  You can buy it on xbox live still I'm pretty sure.  It has great singleplayer, I replayed it recently and it's still very good!  It's like an Uncharted style adventure, but in planes.

Was i the only person who was forced to listen to Snoopy V. Red baron Vinyl and then CDs as a youth? The music were songs telling stories about snoopy v baron at christmas, and how he shot down the red baron...

This game doesn't look terrible. That frightens me.

Lol at Jeff. When yer all green like that...do a barrel roll to shake it off. That way you don't die so damn much. You can even see a little icon at the back of you plane with a picture of the right stick telling you to 'push it this way'. 
Love this game, everyone should buy it. If you liked Crimson Skies you'll like this. It's the closest thing to it I've seen this generation.

I think that the game started off as just flying aces and some artist was drawing loads of nice concept art of planes for the game when his boss walked in and just slapped a sticker of snoopys head onto one of the airplanes and said "this games going have snoopy in it now". Then the artist died inside. I picture a single tear running down the artists cheek.

I don't know. The costumes for the Peanuts characters look pretty good. I don't think the license is all that much of a bad thing for this. "

This game looks pretty awesome. Too bad it's for 360. No, not because I don't own one, but because... HEY, MICROSOFT. I DON'T PAY FOR ONLINE PLAY.
