Infra red camera does NOT mean it picks up heat. it means it has a RADAR (and thus is able to measure distance).
 
Also, you could clearly see the clothes Ryan was wearing, even though those were room temperature.

It's great that they're confident enough to do this publicly, but I advise them against giving out their real birthday, as it could be used for ID theft. I hope that Ryan did not give out his real birthday.
