Have a crew of four that play this only together when we get a chance, it has plenty of faults for sure but the sandbox has plenty of options. The more creative you are the more fun you get out of it but would recommend if you have some people down for shenanigans.

Going into the equivalent of god mode overseeing the entire area and pressing a button to see everyone die seems... Not fun.

The way that helicopter came down in a few shots and ungraciously fell out the air like a slowly deflating balloon bobbing and bouncing off terrain with no explosion or reaction.

Ubisoft open world games are the gaming equivalent of sitting down to eat a plate of stale saltines with nothing on em.

They can't keep playing it safe like this forever.

Also, whenever Jeff triggers these physically impossible sync kills, I just see his fluttering magic hands and hear "SHEIKH ZANZIBAR!" in my head.

Weird, another Ubisoft open world game with jank, repetition, and shitty writing. Considering how often Ubisoft in particular makes basically the same game over and over and over, I think them having so much jank and crappy AI is less acceptable than when other companies do it. But I guess in after a couple years of pointless sequels, they can come out with Tron Clancy's Cyberlands or Tom Clancybeard's Wildseas and everyone can declare Ubisoft redeemed and justify another few years of the same old thing.

It's valid but it's always funny to me how Jeff finds a breezy/broken way through a game and just always mainlines it and constantly uses it, vs many times in games where I choose not to use certain weapons or abilities.

This game looks okay to me. Jeff saying he prefers it singleplayer is the opposite of everyone I have heard talk about this game so.

For me I think there is actually still appeal in a standard-ish tactical shooter but this game looks like one that is worth about $30.

The woman that gives the mission brief sounds like the woman who gives missions to Agent 46 in Hitman without a British Accent.

Eh, this game looks pretty basic as far as open world goes, but I don't particularly like Jeff's arguments. It basically boils down to "yeah, I could play with real people, but when I play with AI it's a much easier game so I'll stick with that".

I'd rather have fun than have an easier time taking over a base.

Yeah that's Jeff's style though. Just think about him playing Horizon and not leaving a bush and stealth killing everything from there. It's valid like I said in my post I go out of my way not to use broken stuff.

This seems like a low amount of fun game, with a very high fun multiplier in co-op.

Found the beta so damn boring, it's very paint by the numbers. Just feel like this was a mistake from the get go by Ubisoft. Say what you will about The Division, but I'd take that game over this any day.

Since the announcement trailer, this game always seemed like a generic uninteresting open-world Ubisoft game, it's no surprise to me that it turned out to be exactly that. It's like if they placed The Division on Far Cry. Ubisoft needs to step up their game and stop copy-pasting the same formula on every singe one of their big budget franchises.

No, it's a game affected by bad writing. They could have the best voice actors in the business working on this game and the lines would still be bad. For example, they got the same actor from Hitman to do the briefing videos but for as much as she tries, what she's saying still sounds dumb on this one while on Hitman she's great.

But since the rest of the voices are bad on this one, maybe the current voices were originally temporary place-holders but they never got the chance to replace them because of the strike? I don't know.

This game really wants me to like it, but having stupid ass/game breaking AI teammates and a push to play this in multiplayer is a huge turn off for me.

You add lime, as in, the mineral, not the fucking citrus fruit. Takes you literally 2 seconds to learn the difference, was this game written by morons? You have this pointless cutscene about how to make cocaine and you get it wrong.

Thankfully completed this pile of garbage today. The longer you play it the more fatigued you get until you just don't give two shits about anything it it by the end. Can't recommend it. Also i play it co-op, two players. Can't even imagine going through that slog alone.

Playing with a buddy and we are finding the game hilarious fun. Sure, the writing is bad, and every radio needs to die, but the amount of possibilities with another person is pretty great.

Also, I've never used sync shot while in SP.

This should be fun to watch, game has some glaring faults. Still having a blast with it.

Hey remember how great the two GRAW games and RS: Las Vegas was? Yeah, fuck this looks like trash.

Real shame the network stuff prevented them from playing co-op with Alex and Vinny because otherwise it's a fairly lifeless Quick Look about a middling game.

Jeff and/or Brad need to play this with Vinny and report back. Because if Vinny playing the game the way Vinny plays open world games can't make it fun then Ubisoft might as well go back and just patch out multiplayer.

Yea, its a bummer. Vinny and Dan could have made some real magic with this game.
