All the Bastion haters decided to crawl out of the wood works now huh? Don't remember there being so many when Bastion came out...

Either way, though this game looks similar to Bastion, it plays quite a bit differently. In fact, I'm pretty sure you'd die repeatedly if you tried to play it like Bastion. It's a much more tactical game, and adds a nice layer of depth to the combat.

So, what? Another month before Microsoft backpedals on their "launch parity" bullshit? Might as well, they've reversed just about every other decision they've made so far this generation.

Good exclusive, hope they bring it to Vita.

I love the color scheme in Super Giant games. So lush.

Though I am a detractor of the narrator gimmick. I find that it's a little too much tell and not enough show. It just seems awkward to have a narrator babble on and on and the main character never talks.

Maybe add a little back and forth?

What a stunningly good looking game. The art and color pallet are so impressive. The combat seems pretty unique and interesting too. A must play for me at some point for sure. Congrats to Greg and SGG.

This looks like it might be made just for a player like me. I learn more about the story while I obsess over character menus and try to find every combination of skills imaginable? Count me in! I frequently play reasonably deep games that way to begin with. And that's pretty much what I did with Bastion as well. Including multiple playthroughs. Definitely going to get this immediately.

It's probably commented somewhere here, but the Soundtrack is available on iTunes and...sort of on Spotify (listed...not yet available?).

I always hated Bastion so guess I'm in minority on that one, or is that majority now? idk...

Pretty garbage comment section. Comments about Bastion and about internet freedoms. There are like 10 relevant comments in this entire thread.

As someone who has played through both this and Bastion I found that the games are similar enough that Bastion could merit a mention if it were a comparison, but the experience is a different one, and if you haven't played either game it's not like there's a order to play them in. The quicklook shows you the gameplay and explains how obscure the story is. If those things don't work for you don't bother with the game.
