This seems much more complicated than I thought it would be. It's coming from gamefly, I'm excited to try it out after this quick look.

I beat this game earlier this morning and have been playing a bunch of multiplayer. It's great!

Agreed. SweetTooth should not be in anything other then a Ice Cream truck.

is it just me or do giantbomb videos take a good hour to start working after it has been uploaded? and even then only via streaming not progressive?

Holy shit a new multiplayer game that has depth and an actual learning curve!?

I'm guessing this will quickly drop in price when it's released here.. Might get it when it's cheaper.

I love the multiplayer in this game, brings me back to my teenage years with Twisted Metal 2.

Server Browser : The Game

Man, the music in this game is great.

Ugh, lotta network errors, may have to wait a few days before I bother with MP.

This looks like a PS2 game or an early PS3 game at best.

a couple of things to keep in mind - there IS a quick match option, but Ryan and Patrick passed it by in favor of the server browser. The single player AI is TERRIBLE - don't buy this game with any plans on playing it offline. The MP servers are having all sorts of problems right now, but ESP is working on it - it's a fun game, but you may want to wait a couple of weeks before committing to the purchase so the kinks can get worked out.

whelp turned the video off, cant stand watching 2 people fumble around trying to join a online game... just pick a random fucking game.

I now know why people don't like server lists, they don't understand how to use them :P

I had issues with this in the demo. Kept pressing R2 and shooting off weapons instead of driving forward. I think they were working on some alternate control schemes which may already be in the game but so far I've only played the demo.

Cool.

Default Controls suck so bad... luckily you have a couple of alternative options.

Maybe it's just my intense dislike for David Jaffe speaking, but this isn't doing anything for me at all. When clowns firing guided missiles at muscle cars doesn't put a smile on my face, something has gone terribly wrong.

Some highlights from the Twisted Metal ShootMyTruck event with interent controlled M249 machine guns.

They seem to understand how filters work in theory...but then they try to sort through the list manually to find unlocked games with high players.

How do you fuck up matchmaking so badly? Why is this a continuing problem with new games? I thought we had online matchmaking sorted 3 years ago.
