I'd agree if it only affected Germany, but it doesn't.

I'm Austrian myself, and our government doesn't give a toss about videogames. Almost every other game that is censored for germany gets an uncensored release in Austria and Switzerland. Bethesda were simply too lazy to make a seperate version for us.

The worst part is that there is absolutely no legal reason to region-lock uncensored versions, even in Germany.

Holy shit this game has a low FOV. Could only watch a few minutes before getting motion sick.

Waiting on the 40gb download atm, but i'm pretty excited to play this. Eventually.

Conversely, you are not required to watch the entire 97 minutes. If you've gotten enough out of the video before it ends, stop watching the video.

Why does Brad face-plant into anything he needs to cut with the laser..?

I would assume it would be much easier to do from a distance rather than super close up.

2009 Wolfenstein was awesome. you should want to play it Vinny! you have sick-ass time powers.

It really hurts to see Brad play games sometimes. This is one of those times.

I don't always speak for everybody, but when I do, I say that I can't wait for new staffers so that future QLs can become entertaining and informative, and not painful to sit and watch no matter their length.

About the elevator, in-game voice and in-game text stated what to do in that situation. How many times have you seen something clearly presented in a QL ignored before and by whom at the helm?

seriously he may just not be susceptible to motion sickness as others are and unfortunately wasn't aware, and coupled w/ bad FOV it was bad news for some, so i don't really blame him.

kinda liking the resurgance of the straightforward FPS. this is getting some pretty positive reviews too. alas, Transistor has my heart.

Some of these textures look almost cartoony, like Borderlands.

@everettescott: a lot of people mention it in correlation with gaming motion sickness and i've noticed its has an effect on me too; didn't say it affects everyone.

have to admire brad's perseverance with making quick looks in spite of all the shitty comments directed at him too. i think he does a fine job myself.

George Lucas? Death's head or Totenkopf was an actual term used by different German armies, including the Nazis. Units in the SS and Panzer forces put a skull and crossbones on their uniforms.

In all seriousness, this looks pretty cool. A nice break from the COD-Battlefield-Titanfall mold one might say.

Didn't get the motion sickness, but the starting and stopping was incredibly irritating. Otherwise I was just bored out of my mind throughout the first 30 min of this ordeal and had to stop watching.

I never really thought BJ was on the Super Soldier serum, but I guess its the changing standards of visual media.

This seems pretty nice! Not $60 nice, but pretty nice.
If I was up for playing an FPS, I'm sure I could do much worse.

Definitely seems like it was made for Mouse & Keyboard, though.
I'll likely pick it up on a Steam Sale sometime in the future.

If anyone has a Giant Bomb QL drinking game you should add whenever the person playing hums a three or four note tune to themselves while playing. That and jokingly saying "Welp, that's [Game Name]" in the first 5 minutes are in every other video.

@schwartzchamp: Well, you didn't ask me, but: I don't think he's "bad at games", or at least it doesn't bother me as much as the people who seem to mention that in the comments of every QL he "drives". So I think he does a good job. Some people disagree, and that's fine.

I wasn't all that interested at first but after seeing the QL it doesn't seem at that bad, might actually pick this up now.

So this is the game which the developers recommend using a pc with a core I7-930 2.80Ghz, 4 gb of ram and a GTX 460? For what? To render forks and knifes textures in card boxes? sigh

The story and the gameplay look ok though.

The Giantbomb community are all so nice to one another.

Enjoying this game a whole lot, but oh man, probably the first time I've become this frustrated when watching a QL, especially since I played the same segment through just hours ago. Granted, that elevator bit had me laughing, but otherwise...nnngh, c'mon Bradley!

You guys should stop playing shooters with gamepads. :P
