Oh I just hope they had the balls to use actual swaztikas like a proper Wolfenstein game.

I hope this story is at least fun.

@scottfromscotland Yeah it feels a lot like that, only they do not censor the swastikas, sig runes and other Nazi imagery.

Been playing the game for a bit, it's a classical FPS all right.

That being said this game would be at least 7 times better if you actually played as @drewbert.

It's weird, parts of this look like a dated 360 game, and parts of it look as good as Rage. It's mostly textures being lower res than they could be, I suppose.

All the periphery stuff in the game seem really well done, but I'm not sure if I am down with the actual gameplay. I've been shooter-ed out for a bit now. Maybe in time.

Can we get a re-recording of this not played as walk, stop, turn, walk, stop, turn, jesus motherfucking christ, if the remaining hour and 20 minutes are going to be like this I'm going to puke, was the pad broken or something?

I don't think it's really that the game suddenly became more difficult, but rather the distraction of explaining and the performance anxiety of being recorded. The "Brad is bad at games" misnomer. Sometimes I wonder if the Polygon model of talking over a previous recording might work better for certain types of games; although I feel like the Quick Look EX/Unfinished model videos where the staff have done that often feel rather dull.

With Brad playing this it looks pretty boring.

This is the second time I saw someone dying during that elevator sequence.

I am a bit bummed out about not being able to play it.

I hate to pile on but I had to stop the video and go to the bathroom and do that thing where you spit out saliva for about five minutes. I got a heavy dose of motion sickness trying to watch it. Not entirely Brad's fault, had a few drinks last night, which doesn't help.

I love the Brad, but this is borderline unwatchable.

Weird that the developers didn't opt to slowdown time whenever the players goes into the radial menu--it's a single-player game after all. I think it's a decent mechanic to counteract the disadvantage of not having number keys.

Despite the sci-fi stuff, and the Nazis, everything I've seen of this game just isn't doing it for me. I'm surprised, given the Nazis, but whatever! Oh well.

Like, they weren't exactly sure how to feel and seemed a little surprised by the thought that some elements of the game might not be totally self-serious. Have they not seen any of the awesome trailers leading up to the release?

Bethesda managed to screw up the german version even more than usual.
Germany, Austria and Switzerland get the censored german version only, and it only comes in german, leaving something like 30% of Swiss people unable to play the game because they don't speak german.
Not to mention that the characters kind of lose their novelty when everyone speaks german all the time.

It's also impossible to get the regular version legit, unless you want to mess around with a VPN every single time you want to launch the game.

Well done, Bethesda, no more money from me.

Playing this with a gamepad seems rough. Definitely a game that you want Mouse & Keyboard for.
