I love "shinny" things.

Man, they can never get CM Punk's (or most of the other wrestler's) entrance right. For a game series that loves to brag about being authentic, they sure love to cut their corners. That Road to Wrestlemania mode looks like the most awful and most amazing thing ever at the same time. Hard to judge the gameplay by just watching. Not a big fan of the way a lot of the moves are animated though. Looking forward to this coming in the mail later to see how it all pans out for myself.

720P BABYYYYY! Very wise decision guys.

Just wanna point out that the pinning system was in last years game, but only if you go in the options and set it that way, which was weird, it is a way better system.

Also a couple of things like the exhaustion of the Rock at the end there and the red lights in the crowd, all totally last year too, but i don't expect Ryan to know that at all. Not even sure why i am saying this then, but hey.

But what i do know is, is that this still looks clunky as hell. All the pre-release footage looked really bad to me also, but i'll have to wait to see for myself. I play these games in a very specific way to avoid the clunky-ness which is an insane thing to have to do. But I'm still excited to see how this new engine works, even though quite a bit of animation has carried over, which is probably why it doesn't 'feel' any different from last years game.

The best part about Universe mode this year is being able to make your own shows on the schedule (and arenas) You could totally just run WCW if you wanted to...except for the occasional WWE logo popping up, but hey. That "oh my" was in last years game too, and i totally abused it in all of those ridiculous scenes. It was great...
