How did they not make a console version of this? For my money this is a WAY better use of the WWE licence than a traditional wrestling game. I haven't bought a wrestling game since Here Comes The Pain in like... 2005? And have no interest in the shit Yukes is pumping out, but I'd buy something like this in a heartbeat.

Only 26 minutes? How about an Endurance Run of WWE Immortals????? Hmmmmmmm?????

Oh, this is literally the same gameplay as the Injustice mobile game. Which is fine because that game is awesome.

I don't get why @jeff didn't just say that The Rock is now an actual rock.

So Daniel Bryan in this game is...the Vince McMahon ideal/wish for what Daniel Bryan actually looks like???

Oh yes, this is perfect. Wonderfully ridiculous. :-) I can only imagine what kind of nonsensically great story mode a console version of this would have, haha.

I hope the character designer got a raise for this game. I could definitely see this as a full-fledged Injustice-like game. (Insofar Injustice isn't just a MK knockoff.)

I never got into mobile Injustice, but I'm way into the Marvel game. I think it controls and looks better, but these NetherRealm games look like they have got more to do outside of combat? Might have to check this out.

Edit: Just tried this game. The Marvel one is way better. I'm gonna stick with that.

I haven't watched the QL yet, but I've played a little bit of it and it seems pretty awful so far. There's absolutely no strategy, it's just "how fast can you touch the screen?"

I have not given a shit about wrestling for over a decade but holy shit the character designs in this game are wonderful.

I've played too much of this game so far. After about 3 hours I have an A team of level 16 Dark Sorcess Paige, (Legendary) Demon Kane, Giant Big Show, and a B team of 5 Yes! Daniel Bryant, Pyromancer Nikki Bella, and White Witch Trish Stratus. So far it's been pretty easy, spam heavy attacks when they're about to get up (meaty attacks?) then use Paige's level 1 special which does a lot of damage and drains their meter. Also block if you don't have it and they have 1.5+ meters since they'll almost always burn it on wake-up. I'm not going to say it's great but it passes the time. Also I've pumped up my Kane card enough that I basically just tag him in when he has full meter, then he jumps in grabs the guy, sets them on fire and almost always one shot them which is pretty great.

Jeff is going to spend so much money on this... If he cracked so hard with Supercard, he has no chance.

I still think they should have used the "Goat Face" theme they had already established a (few?) year(s?) ago and made Daniel Bryan into a satyr or even full on Baphomet (although maybe without the boobs that Baphomet sometimes seems to have)

It sucks that awesome ideas like this are relegated to awful mobile games.

I wish this was a real game instead of a free to play mobile dumb thing.

I barely use my Android tablet, but it looks like I have a good reason to now. This looks awesome, and I'm not much of a wrestling fan. Sure am a NetherRealm fan though.

@tits_matador Agreed that this would be great as a full fledged console game.

All the free to play nonsense puts me off. The idea of a Mortal Kombat like game but with wrestling characters sounds great.

So the only way to make an almost not bad wrestling game is to make a non-wrestling wrestling game.

I'd be so, so into a full-blown console version of this, especially if they mined wrestlers from throughout the eras. Ric Flair as a wood elf (a true Nature Boy), Mankind as a Gollum-like character, Scotty 2 Hotty as a Wyrm... it writes itself!

EDIT: Doink as a jester, Mae Young as a crone, Drew Carey as himself/the final boss...

I liked Injustice, I would still play the fuck out of Jeff's idea for a console version of this.

I watched the Roman Reigns Spear Spear a dozen times yesterday. I think that's all I need.

I have a level 4 Trish Stratus, Nikki Bella, and Paige. Paige looks fantastic and she's fast with her Banshee Rage attack.

I'm never going to play this but I am so, so thankful that it exists.

If anyone wonders, yeah Jeff paid money for gold, lol. No way to have that much gold with as little of the game as he seems to have played.

I rewatched the part where Jeff is over the moon about Daniel Bryan's design in this game because I love hearing him be so happy.

Also that Perfect Plex by Mr. Perfect that Dan mentioned, it's actually amazing, nay, PERFECT!

I just woke up my neighbors laughing as I saw Evil Daniel Bryan.

Allow me to board the "this concept is awesome and wasted on a phone game" train. Give me, like, an RPG or a Devil May Cry-esque action game or a Mortal Kombat knock-off.

I am very impressed by the overall art presentation of this thing. I'll never play it, but props for all the great design work.

How did both Jeff and Dan get through this quicklook, and not comment on the fact that Big Show has a "Giant" costume? Possible call-back to WCW and the Dungeon of Doom, the whole Andre the Giant's evil son thing?

I really hope game devs get over the whole shaky screen thing.. I'm really tired of the camera angles moving spastically so you can't focus on anything. Does the camera have to go up and down left and right zoom in and out with every little move the character makes?? It gets really distracting and it seems like more and more studios think it's cool to do it. I hope they at least start adding options to disable camera sway or shaky cam or spastic cam or whatever the hell they call it...
