I imagine the HDCP link error is only for when you have an unsecured digital connection. It's basically what the system throws out if you try to watch an HD DVD over an HDMI->DVI adapter on a non-HDCP compliant system. Conversely, it doesn't care when you run over a straight analogue system like component or composite. I'd be surprised if it was any different. Additionally, Jeff said it was "not final", so that might be a temp thing anyway.

Someone tell Microsoft to add in a Defragmenter or something, damn Xboxs are so slow...and it would most likely speed up load times from the Hard Drive.
All-in-all I'm excited about the NXE, mainly for games on drive support. Other than that...party chat probably. Hopefully I'll let it better once I'm actually using the interface myself. I just wish there wasn't so much eye candy. Guess I just really love the XMB(on the PSP, I've never used the PS3 one) it gives you exactly what you need, in a no-nonsense manner.

meh.  Only thing I look forward to is the party system and install of games to HDD.

Well...hmm...it does have the Apple cover flow written all over it, but other than that it seems be pretty cool.

I would be happier if you didnt give me party chat or netflix or the mii thing or the hard drive installer which doesnt make load times go fast enough for me. i would rather be without that.

I'm actually really excited about the NXE! This has just made me more-so. I mean, I'm in Australia, so the Netflix thing doesn't apply (our Video Marketplace is almost completely useless), and we don't even get the Inside Xbox things either, but just the general feel of it, plus the cheesey avatars make me think it's going to be awesome

thanks for the vid Jeff. at first I Was a bit uncertain about the avatars, but welcomed everything else. but I watched this video twice. taking custom snapshots of your avatar for my gamepic, epic win. I'm gonna make my avatar CREAMY hehehe. cant wait. it's really gonna feel more "personal" of an experience on my 360. I think its awesome. anytime I feel like a slightly different look, Change of clothes, zoom in out, turn a bit, BAM! new gamerpic. pure awesomeness. rather that, than pay for pics.

oh, and can you make it possible to download the Vids @ Giantbomb. that would be really awesome. I wanna download this one.

Well im excited  for move forward in my XBOX experience, just not to much for dressing up a doll .. Opps. Avatar. 

I do like it, but it looks like they just copied the Mii's off of the Wii, as far as the avatars go.  Im obviously not the only one who noticed it, I just thought it needed to be stated again.
It looks good though, which is surprising.

I didn't read through much of the comments, but did anyone else notice that Jeff had TWO Fallout 3's with gamerpoints on his dashboard?!  ?!?!?!??!??!  One has 22 achievements, and the other had 5 achievements!!!

This version of NXE looked way better than the current (Kinect) one... and I can hardly remember the old blades now, which is crazy.
