Or even reliably monthly. Or twice a month, but one right before that month's PPV, then the second right after the PPV and Raw.

You know, at first I thought that was a typo in the title. But then... yeah.

And yes, I blame this podcast for me over Christmas break saying "nothing is on TV, but Universal HD is playing wrestling so what the hell" (it was the Christmas RAW & Smackdown replays) which means I now signed up to the WWE network.

Between this podcast and watching random episodes of Botchamania while very drunk late at night, I feel like I'm enjoying wrestling more by not watching it than I would by watching it.

Jeff absolutely breaks Jared with a well timed quip near the end.

I'm surprised they didn't know that Undertaker had actually gotten a concussion early in the match, which was a large reason why the rest of the match was too slow and plodding.

there is some good talent in championship wrestling from hollywood, joey ryan is amazing, willie mack is one of the best big men on the indys and peter avalon and ray rosas are a hilarious jobber tag team. if they do decide to go to a la card they need to go to pro wrestling guerrilla much better show and one of the best crowds constantly on the indys today. id love for alex and jeff to film a video thing for the powerbomb cast as well interviewing the guys.

I've only been watching RAW for the last three weeks after a loooooong time of not watching. I'm glad to know that my tastes in wrestlers is still in line with the majority of the Powerbombcast crew.

I really like the work of Bad News Barrett, Cesaro and The Wyatts. The Shield on the other hand haven't impressed me much at all. To their own credit all they've been doing is getting their asses kicked every week, but what I've seen of them so far has been fairly average. Daniel Bryan is another wrestler I just don't get yet, or why he resonants so much with the crowd. If he's suppose to be an "every man" type wrestler, I'd much rather he take on a Stone Cold vibe than what comes off as more of a whiner vibe.

But yeah, I'll take as much "Bad News" as WWE wants to throw at me, but I'm not jumping into the network until there's parity with Hulu for RAW and Smackdown.

Hearing Alex jump on the "Brock Lesnar is horrible" train with Jeff is very disappointing. Dan is the only one who gets it.

I seriously do not believe that the Undertaker finish was how it was supposed to be all along; its them saving face and not wanting to admit the potentially biggest match of the year was a failure. Just my opinion.

Oh, Lesnar is on another break? That's weird. I seriously dislike Lesnar. Dude looks bad in the ring, he's dangerous to the crowd, he scream like a girl, the most interesting thing about him is Heyman, and he simply does not care about the industry. The only thing terrifying about Brock Lesnar to me is he might accidentally murder someone in the crowd by throwing a monitor or chair into the crowd again.

So, did anyone else think that Big E was looking as if he was getting consistently aroused while watching matches? Sweating, rapid eye movement, heavy breathing, constantly licking his lips, etc. My wife and I couldn't stop laughing.

I want to edit a supercut podcast consisting solely of Giancarlo Varanini getting hyped about Roman Reigns becoming the Undertaker.

The Shield has been consistently booked fairly strongly since their debut at Survivor Series/TLC 2012. Having recently turned babyface/good guy, they've been getting beaten a bit more to show vulnerability and to establish Evolution as a "threat". They are also (as a sum of parts) fantastic wrestlers, talkers, and they have cool gimmicks and costumes.

I'm not trying to say "you missed the good parts so you have to go back!" but Daniel Bryan has been the legit best wrestler in the entire world for over a decade at this point, and is only just now getting recognition for it. I've heard it compared to your favorite local band starting to win Grammys or go X Platinum. In a purely kayfabe/storyline viewpoint, he has come from very humble beginnings to achieve greatness, fighting against the idea of what a "wrestler" should look like; he isn't tan or big. The storyline for the past year has been Bryan struggling against a corporate machine that won't let him be the champ because of how he looks. It's a line blurring storyline that takes truthful elements of the naysayers from his career and puts it on his character. From a reality based standpoint, it's almost the same thing. Dude is way better in the ring than anybody else and has been great since he was in the indies. His gimmick was/is that he's a great wrestler that doesn't need gimmicks to whip your ass. When he first got signed to WWE, he was part of the Nexus angle, which was a bunch of game show rookies beating everyone up. He got fired for doing what they asked him to do, then they brought him back, then they didn't really do anything with him for a while. He has been consistently given either little to do, or poor storylines, and he has spun gold out of everything he has been given. The crowd has recognized his talent when nobody in power perhaps had, and has kept that demand high enough to keep Bryan in the picture.

I could go on about some of my favorite Shield and Daniel Bryan angles, but I just realized I've written so much about pro wrestling to an internet stranger, so I just say this: it's cool to like who you like and not like who you don't like. That's the great thing about wrestling.

Taker's loss was pathetic. It still bums me out. The streak shouldn't have been broken, especially in such a crappy match.

I will totally support GBW (powered by 2K15) if that happens.

Jared losing it at Jeff's anime comment was just fantastic.

I can't thank you smarks enough for getting together for this bit of nonsense since I just can't bare to watch the train wreck that is modern wrestling. I can't get enough of this podcast! Alex even subjected himself to some TNA to suffer for our sakes and for that I'm grateful. Jeff continues to be the voice of reason in this crazy world. Giancarlo, Dan, Jared, all of you dudes are baller as hell and it's a joy to listen to you during my bleak work hours. Thanks again for this feature and continue doing it for as long as it makes sense.

It was Taker's request to lose to Brock, only a few people knew about the finish. The odds on the match only changed on the night so it was a well kept secret.

Warrior looked extremely unwell in both appearances on that weekend actually, it's crazy in retrospect.

That IC belt has been death for anyone who has it, so be careful what you wish for.

Pretty fucking hilarious that Vicky Guerrero actually gets under Jeff's skin but he'll be glad to know she's leaving the company, yet still hasn't managed to 'leave' leave somehow...

Brock Lesnar was perfect to break the streak. The surprise and subsequent meltdown throughout the marks and IWC was fucking amazing. He's the only man, kayfabe and non, legit enough to beat Taker.

I believe in the Shield.

The only other person that had the credibility to break it and actually get a push out of it was DB and he was a bit busy that night. Roman Reigns is nowhere near ready (they still hide him during Shield matches) and Bray Wyatt would have been ready next year.

Brock really was the only option. He is literally the toughest, most dangerous person on the roster, his character can take all the heat he will have for the rest of his career, and as much as Jeff and company don't want to see it, Brock is pretty good in the ring.

BTW I'm amazed at how almost nobody talks about Brock literally carrying Taker through that whole match. Taker isn't capable of getting any lift on his own after the concussion and yet Brock is still throwing him around.
