Awesome! Keep'em coming!  You've got a helluva lot of terrible videogame movies to slog through.  But at the end, it will all be worth it.

I remember Van Damme was out here in Australia filming this. And some news show 'surprised' him in his trailer where he's very obviously just partaken in some, shall we say, nasal decongestants.

It was like that Fiddy video, but even funnier.

I thought SF the movie the game was awesome.  Never saw the movie, as I was only 6 at the time and my mom wouldn't take me :,(

Whats funny is that Jackie Chan does a better version of street fighter in City Hunter than the actual Street fighter movie.

I have to admit, when I was a kid and didn't know any better this was one of my favorite movies. Watching it now obviously brings forth bittersweet memories I guess. The only character they got right was... 'maybe' vega. That is a big maybe though.

Somehow, inspite of it's horridness, I have a grave suspicion it will trump the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

HD Remix and SFIV are the pinnacle of achievement for the series, I hope the new film (dare I call it that) oesn't put a little stain on Capcoms's well deserved spotlight at the moment.

I remember watching the test screening of this at a theater in Socal.  I was indeed terrible.  It was a Street Fighter movie that had very little fighting in it.  Early on there was that decent set up where Ryu was going to fight  Vega in a cage match.  Looked promising.  Only to have the fight cocked blocked by Guile breaking in through a wall with a military vehicle.  At one point during the screening, someone in the bored crowd defiantly yelled out 'MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!".  The entire crowd (myself included) erupted into laughter.  There is a masochistic side of me that wants to watch this again.  Actually to see what the theatrical release version turned out to be.  The test screening I saw was not a final edit and did not have very many special effects in place.  It's funny to watch a Bison "Lighting hands" scene with no lightning.  It was more like a Raul Julia air groping an invisible woman.  

My take on Street Fighter (1994) is that it isn't a terrible film, just not particularly good either.  I think the best part is watching Raul Julia ham it up as M. Bison because he does a good job of it.  I am a extremely big fan of the games and while I do dislike a lot of the inconsistencies between the film and the games, I still enjoy the movie on a so-bad-it-is-good level.  Yes, I recently bought the Blu-ray release and what can I say, I have a soft spot for it just like I have a soft spot for the crappy voice acting in the original Resident Evil.

Best part of the movie is no doubt Raul Julia and his speeches. The movie is awesome just for those. lol

If you thought this was bad watch Future Cops. It's a Japanese movie where they are all Street Fighter rip-offs but get this... FROM THE FUTURE! It's horrible and that makes it awesome.... plus Goku makes an unwelcome appearance along with a Mario parody when they go inside the game machine.

I feel like the only person out there that finds the Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game (terrible title, btw) decently fun. It's not SFII or anything, it's actually pretty poor quality, but there's a fun fluidity to the combat, and it's a fairly entertaining button masher- far superior to all the Street Fighter clones that came out in the arcades/SNES/Genesis back in the days.

I don't like how Ryan treats these segments with so much more reverence than usual as if movies, even in crappy video game adaptation form, are so much better than games. He kind of puts on his serious reviewer face and doesn't joke around as much. Idk these just seem more scripted.

Street Fighter is absolutely bad. There's no Hadouken, no Sonic Boom, no Sonic Kick, no Tiger Uppercut, no nothing. What a letdown. There aren't any qualities or elements from the video game whatsoever. And why the hell Guile is played by a Belgian actor and not an American actor? Just because Jean Claude Van Damme was big during the 90's doesn't mean he fits to be Guile.

NO! This movie is awesome! You're not supposed to watch this thinking "yeah, I'm going to get a deep storyline and some high quality action". If you think that, then yes, this movie will suck. You're supposed to watch this movie and think "I'm about to experience some video game parodies and comedy" then you're going to love this shit!
