Even if this were the run, it wouldn't be the run cuz the REAL run won't have any deaths or weapon upgrades. Nude run this pig like it's a Souls game.

I think part of what makes this feature so great is that they chose a 2-player simultaneous game. They might be able to make it work with SG&G if they just hand off the controller every other life, I guess.

This was the first video of the series I watched so in spirit, this was my run.

I enjoy this a whole lot. Also this being live makes it twice as good.

With Dan finishing the Metal Gear series with Drew and Vinny finishing the Castlevania series, I wonder whats the next Konami series they will finish. Wont be long till they finish all the Konami games cause there wont be new ones.

Oh man, the emotions from this episode. I was really hopeful when they basically breezed through the first six levels, then despaired when they burned three continues on level 7. Then that last level...

But finally, this was the run!

The last 15 minutes were the most exciting thing ever of anything.

Battletoads is literally unbeatable with two players.

@paulunga: You mean the level 11 player 2 getting stuck glitch? I thought they fixed it in Rare Replay?

I think Double Dragon 2 would be a good choice for the next game - it's short enough, has some entertaining challenges, but very beatable if you put a little time into it. TMNT2: Arcade would be a another fitting one, and of course Super C eventually.

The lesson here is don't get cocky with the buttholes.

What a roller coaster of emotions this whole episode was. This series has easily become one of my favorite things on Giant Bomb.
