Twisted Metal was always the one game stopping me from getting a PS3. Twisted Metal = entire childhood. I've started saving already.

The only Twisted Metal game I've played was the very first one on PS1 and that was fun.

I can't believe Ryan and Patrick forgot how to shoot backwards or any freeze.

This looks fun as hell and takes me back to my time with TM Black. Wish I had a PS3 now.

It took me an hour to get in the room (damn network errors!), but once I did it was awesome!

I generally don't mind Patrick, but I found him to be a little much when Whitta left...

Ryan's lack of use of the nitro booster made driving around huge maps pretty slow. He was even picking up nitro canisters with a full gauge, only to continue to drive along at regular speed. Really need to double tap throttle to get around some of those big areas.

Nitpicks aside, thanks for showing off what would be a fun game for a TNT if not for the whole network issue thing.

Holy jumping jesus what a riot this game is in multiplayer, has there been anything close to it this generation of raw chaos and fun, explosions everywhere, that hasn't been a Battlefield game?

As one of those four dudes, let me tell you that the reason people weren't in the room was because of Network issues. I wasn't able to join some of the games because of it.

I will also say that this TNT houses one of the stupidest questions from the chat I've ever seen in a TNT. "If you could ask Calypso for one wish, what would it be?" (Right behind "If I didn't like Gears of War 1 or 2, is there anything in 3 that would appeal to me?") Jesus Christ, grow up. And I'm disappointed in Perry for even picking the question. I'm happy Ryan has the guff to shoot down such stupidity.

Isn't this games regular retail price lower than most games in US too? Here in aus games are typically 100-120 brand new and the highest i've seen TM is 70.

Same here. I was planning to leave to make room for more people, but the chat kept talking about network errors. Hell, I couldn't connect til the third or fourth game.

Didn't they explicitly say in the beginning of the TNT that there was a scheduled maintenance of the Twisted Metal servers planned around an hour into the show as well, which apparently happened in the background, not causing any issues to the running game but making it disappear from the server list?
