Thursday Night Throwdown: 04/25/2013

Dave Lang is a magical human being.

So, Jeff seems to have taken over hosting duties on all of the live shows.

Does anyone have insight into this? Ryan seemed to be fairly well suited to hosting, just wondering why Jeff took over.. Of course Jeff is a fine host as well, this just made me curious.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I work like 70+ hrs a week so I miss a lot..

This was one of the best TNTs ever!

Agreed. At first I didn't like him as much as GB's other industry friends that often stop by, but now Lang is one of my favorite dudes.

This really was the best shit ever.

I hope we get to enter the Lang Zone again soon. This was a great show.

Hey nerds in the back, STFU, Dave Lang is trying to talk to us about Doug Dellinger.

Vinny is just so fucking fantastic.

I caught about half of the live show when it was 'live' but dang there should be a new feature called 'This is Your Life: Videogames' or some such nonsense. What a great incisive look at Dave Lang's career and some really interesting inside baseball stuff.

For TNT, nay this was kind of a bummer hearing everyone else having 'fun' in the background, but this and the Brad Muir video could be a great series to come, especially now how you guys have the friendly 'access.' This was a really interesting content just in the wrong slot.

Hell, if John Drake still likes you guys after you fucked him over (jokingly). Have him talk about the Rock Band development, acquiring licensed songs etc, if he's in that deep to talk about that stuff and not just the front dancer, swilling diet coke man he portrays to be.

This has to become a regular feature, get more developers in there!

I have Wrecketeer, Lang! Although Microsoft gave it to me for free. I have no idea what the deal is with that. Does that have any benefit to the developer?

This was great. It was really interesting hearing everything Lang had to say about his past. I'd love more retrospectives with game devs like this, it's really cool. Bring in Cowboy! :)

While this wasn't a true TNT, I loved it and would really like to see this as a new feature. Developer Diaries with video and interaction with the GB crew. Badass.

I only caught the second half, and look forward to the first in this archive. This was a riveting show, with Lang talking about his development exploits (no pun intended).

I'd love to get more of this stuff from devs (as at least one other person has already commented). This is the type of inside baseball stuff that makes my nerd brain cells jump for joy.

Great TNT, really enjoyed it.
