I'm fine with watermarks on alphas and betas and I'm fine with watermarks jumping around once in a while, but this watermark is insane.

DICE said that they're going to get rid of the battlelog browser-based launcher and replace it with something else. That interface at the start with the Hardline and BF4 icons is probably an early version of that.

You may notice that you had a different loadout when you spawned in a vehicle, there's your vehicle "class".

@brad: I wouldn't be surprised this entire game was timed to coincide with the 100th 'anniversary' of WWI. There are commemorations and special events all throughout these 4 years.

Sadly, the more I see of this game the more I'm convinced this isn't the WWI shooter I want.

Not sure I like how they changed Conquest either but I guess they wanted to simplify it as much as possible?

Much like Battlefront, and this may be a really silly thing to make a note of, but man this game sounds great. Excellent sound mixing and editing.

The more I see of this game the more I think it looks like the most boring Battlefield to date. Absolutely nothing about it seems interesting or appealing. The longing people have to go back to WWII or in this case, WWII with a WWI skin, continues to absolutely baffle me. Titanfall 2 and to a lesser degree Infinite Warfare showed exciting new systems and weapons. This game just looks old, and not in a good way.

But hey some people are digging it, so maybe once again I'm the outlier here.

Jeff needs to work on his deflection shooting. I was one of those crazy players that Brad mentions with a joystick at the ready for whenever I flew a plane or helicopter in the BF games.

With this and Titanfall 2 coming out just a week apart, the latter is looking far more interesting to be but this is just gorgeous to look at.

Watching this reminded me of how it always takes me forever to actually get good at Battlefield after not playing one for a while. Generally it's just lots of dying like Jeff here.

The German army actually started replacing the spiked helmets with the more normal helmets that were more like their WW2 helmets in 1916. And this game seems like it's supposed to be taking place during the later years of the war.

I might just jump into this. I haven't been interested on shooters for years but this is giving some really strong vibes of 1942 and Vietnam era Battlefield, and I'm liking that a lot.

Not just the era that brings me back to old Battlefield, but also the HUD and vehicles.

Graphix and sound design are fucking insane.
Hope the SP campaign is good because i have zero interest in the MP part of this, but holy shit.

i want the bouncing watermark to transition into some sort of breakout minigame at some point, cause fuck it.

Is it wrong that I think they are doing the moving watermark so some streamer can't just put their PiP over top of a static one?

I don't see why this is WW1, it's just a Battlefield game, it looks like they made the same game again. If you're moving drastically to a new setting, why not change the gameplay up and do something new? I just cannot get excited for another one of these... I was hoping it would be more Red Orchestra paced and a bit more tactical. It just does the same thing as all the others and I'm tired of these Battlefield games.

The last BF gamed I liked was BFBC2 and everyone I talk to says the same thing. It felt like a better balance of gameplay and it was something new, not just them doing another BF game.

What sucks is there will be no mod support, no player made maps etc. They'll just do premium and split the community up over map packs and that will kill off servers as it always does.

Why can;t we have the days of BF1942 where we had the mods like DC Mod that improved the game? Why can't we have player made maps? They're always so much better than the ones DICE make and with destruction people would do some crazy stuff.

I'm not buying another one, at this point I'm more excited for COD, a series I haven't played since COD4.

To me it feels like more battlefront. This is a battlefrontisized battlefield. You cant take off with planes anymore.It feels like an arcade version of battlefield. I'm not sure its for me anymore. All based on footage observed.
